Wrigley's World

I haven't been very good at keeping up with everyone, so I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!  We had company for most of the holiday.  First my grandparents from Wyoming came to visit.  I got lots of cool stuff from them.  This rug was part of my present.  How fitting is this?



Then Grandpa came to visit from Texas.  He brought the pipsqueaks with him. They are used to Texas, so Colorado was kind of cold for them.  They cuddled up to each other to keep warm.


Mom got me treats and toys for Christmas.  Santa brought me toys and a new bone.


The best part was getting all the extra belly rubs from our company.  I hope you all got extra belly rubs too!

Happy New Year!

Mom and I went to Wyoming for Thanksgiving to see Grandpa and Grandma.  The drive is 7 1/2 hours long, and mom makes me wear my seat belt the whole way!  It is really boring, so I take long naps.


When we got there it was really cold.  Then it snowed and the fun began!


I have to stay in the basement at Grandma's, and it drives me crazy when I can see her upstairs.  Here I am giving her the sad eyes to come pet me.


When we finally got back to Colorado after our trip, we put up the big tree! 


I think this means presents are coming soon!

This year I am thankful for many things.

Comfortable chairs for napping,


wide open spaces for running and playing


and snow between my toes.


Most of all I am thankful for my friends and all my family!

I haven't posted in a while, and according to mom we have no good excuses.  We have been busy, so here is a quick recap. 

This summer I spent my weekends at our family's ranch - watching the wildlife (not mom's best photography)

I went to Wyoming again and rode in Grandpa's boat and got to swim in the lake!


This fall I went to my aunt's cabin north of where we live, but mom forgot her camera.  Then I went to the annual Halloween fundraiser for our local no-kill shelter, and again mom forgot her camera.

I promise to be better about keeping up, and I am going to find a way to make sure we always have the camera.

I finally got to go back to the ranch this weekend and enjoy the wide open spaces.  Everything at the ranch is really dry - check out this picture taken from one of our lookout points.


I love getting to run and play without fences and leashes again!
