It's Spring!

It's Spring!
A few weeks after Isaac was born, a health visitor stopped by to check in on us and we started chatting about San Diego and how we were adjusting to living in England. When I mentioned how excited I was to see spring in all it's glory - white and purple crocuses, vibrant daffodils, rainbows of tulips - she was astonished that we don't have bulbs in southern California.
I miss the ocean but boy, God sure has fun with springtime flowers!
Obviously this was planted by a USC fan ;-)

When the wind blows it's like being in a flower petal blizzard

I thought this only happened in books...or Disneyland

Just imagine a cool breeze and singing birds...
...speaking of singing birds; we are now used to waking up to a symphony of birds welcoming the new day with song. A couple mornings ago, however, I woke up to give Isaac his pacifier and heard the regular bird chorus and (I promise I'm not making this up) a parrot saying "Carlos!, Carlos!"
I asked Aaron if he heard it and he said he did. Proof I wasn't dreaming. Isn't that random?!
Anyways, back to Spring...
Our block celebrated the Royal Wedding with a street party. It was such a fun way to get to know our neighbors!
Now it's time to brag on our boy...
He smiles!

Tummy time! Isaac is working hard holding up that head!

This plastic rainbow slinky is the best toy ever!

What a way to end the day...milk coma!
We hope you have the chance to enjoy spring wherever you are!
