We spent a delicious day with Salena and Joel at Cadbury World...and yes, it was as yummy as it sounds!
We were hoping for some Willy Wonka-like experiences and we weren't disappointed.
We toured the actual factory and saw chocolate being stirred, molded, packaged, and prepared for shipping. Walking through the factory was one of the best smelling experiences of my life!
To make things even cooler it was Pirate Weekend so all the employees were decked out in pirate costumes. Isaac was given his first balloon sword and boy did he like it! He was a regular little swashbuckler!
After the "Essence" experience which included a hologram video explaining how Cadbury came up with the idea of using fresh dairy milk in their chocolate, we walked into a room where we got to create our own chocolate concoctions.
Here's Salena getting her milk chocolate/sour gummy bear mix.
I shared my milk chocolate/marshmallow mix with Isaac.
He approved.
There were lots of interactive games (even a strange ride about cocoa nib land) for kids and adults. Isaac loved toddling around this room with the mirrors and moving candy images on the floor. He kept cracking up and did NOT want to leave!
Some sweet memories were definitely made!
