Benji is 2!
Benji the Birthday Boy
a solid little ball of energyspeaking more words everyday
(even stringing sentences together)
and oh so very adorable
(I'm often told he's either a Disney cartoon character
or a mini Brad Pitt)
he loves to help
laughs so hard you can see all his teeth
and is so very proud to tell you he's 2!
We had a family celebration on his actual birthday
(he's our resident carnivore so drumsticks were the
birthday dinner of choice)
he loves his Gruffalo
(he got a stuffed animal, movie, game, and little suitcase -
it was the year of the Gruffalo!)
he hasn't crawled inside yet but loves laying on top
of his "sleep sack"
we watched his new Gruffalo movie and ate his favorite - popcorn!
On Saturday we had a party at our church hall - complete with a bounce house
birthday crown making
after the party I asked Benji what his favorite part was and he said "cake!"
