Early Sunday morning we hustled the kids into the car
grabbed water bottles, bananas, bagels
tried not to stab ourselves with safety pins while attaching our numbered bibs
and drove downtown for the
Coronado Bridge Walk
A 4 mile run/walk
with beautiful views of Downtown San Diego
and "the sea" as Isaac says
ending at a park in Coronado
over 10,000 people took part!
these guys were dancing past the starting line
1 down, 3 to go
Isaac liked looking through the cracks in the bridge to the pillars holding it up
look - it's Coronado!
that's what we just walked over!
almost at the finish line...
I guess we can always improve on our time next year!
the boys were impressed by the juice boxes, mini muffins and free balloon swords
at the end of the race
enjoying the San Diego skyline!
