A wonderful Labor Day weekend in Texas!

We stayed in a lakeside house that had it's own dock going out to the lake 

and boy did we use it

Isaac loved paddle boarding with Grandma and Grandpa

and was really proud when he got to stand up and paddle all by himself

Benji's favorite part was hosing down after swimming

because here in drought ridden San Diego

playing with the hose is a no-no

We filled the cooler float with water and toys for Ezri

and she enjoyed playing in her own private pool in the yard

It was wonderful to see Grandma and Grandpa. Uncle Noel,

Nannie and Robin and some of Aaron's uncles and cousins

A perfectly wet, relaxing long weekend get-away!

Our awesome neighbors across the street gave us 

some tickets to Legoland that expired at the end of August.

So we went!

Thankfully Benji was tall enough to go on most of the rides Isaac could

and even Ezri got in on some of the action

Benji liked the boat ride where we saw different buildings and 

monuments built out of Lego

and seeing the live action "fire safety" show

Isaac liked going on all of the rides - he can't pick a favorite

Ezri really liked the playground and riding on the airplane ride - she kept giggling

We had a fun day exploring a park that was new to all of us!
