ASH turned TWO!




Happy 2nd Birthday Ash!

Ash turned TWO yesterday! Ive planned out a small gathering aka birthday party for him. Ive invited only 2 families, Kak Lela's & Sarah's.

Our neighbour's kids came too.

Ive placed orders of Mee Goreng and Spring Rolls from Mbak Sri. Sandwiches by yours truly. Pudding custard by Mil. Mini Baulus imported from Sg, thanks to Mama! and Barney Birthday Cake by Kitchen Cuisine.

Guests came as early as 7pm (the kids). Cake cutting ceremony was done at 9pm. It wasnt a grand affair but Im glad dat Ive invited my closed friends over here. Everyone had so much fun!

Happy 2nd Birthday My Son and Many More to Come, InshaAllah.

Anniversary Dinner @ Fujiyama



It wasnt a romantic dinner with Ash tagging along. (thanks!) We decided to try the Japanese cuisine here. Off, we went to Avari Hotel and the choice was Fujiyama. Located on the 8th floor of the hotel.

I ordered Seafood Bento Set while Hub had Tepanyaki Chicken Set. Very Japanese i tell ya! Nice!!

No gifts at this point of time but Hub was saying we will go for a trip sometime in Jan 2007. Well, guess where are we heading to? *winks* (NOT singapore of coz!)

Ps: If you guys think im looking FAT or maybe theres a bun in the oven. You are TOTALLY WRONG coz it was damn cold and i was wearing like 2-3 shirts underneath.

Our 3rd Anniversary Today!



We met in 1998. We took the next step in 2000. We got married in 2003 and Ash was born in 2004. It is now 2006 and hey, its OUR 3RD ANNIVERSARY today!

Oily faces, stomach bloated and totally tired are the words to describe our 1st and 2nd day of Raya. Every houses that we visited, confirmed kena makan. Macam mana aku nak diet cam gini... takpe lah...bak kata pepatah, Raya Setahun Sekali tapi Gemuk tiap2 hari..LOL...

Papa left on 10Oct 2006. He is now safely in Karachi. We wont be celebrating Raya together, how sad. Tak dapat pakai sedondon :((

Last year I was in Khi during Eid. On the 1st day of Raya, I donned the top from Anglia. So this year, I thought of buying a new baju kurung or kebaya. I dun think that I will go down to Geylang with a toddler in tow. My sis then suggested that we go to JB for iftar and maybe look-look see-see if we can find any nice baju raya there.

We left home at 2pm, fetched them at their home and headed straight to Plaza Angsana. Pey ramai orang! Jalan punya jalan, sekali tengok jam da pukul 5.30pm. We went straight to the cafe and placed our orders for iftar. Great food they have here.

We were caught in the massive jam on the way home. Thus reached home only at 11.30pm! But at least we got the baju raya. What's the theme you may ask? Oh well, tunggu lah Raya nanti ye :D

We knew each other thru our hubbies. Since the 1st meeting back in 2004, we kept in touch thru MSN. We hit it off straight away and since we are in Sg, why not have iftar together.

They reserved a private room at Amirah's Grill and we ordered the buffet. Sedap you makanan di sana sampai tak sempat nak amek gambar! LOL

The last time I saw Tiara, she was only a toddler, but look at her now. All grown up at 3 years old with such a pretty and cute face. She is gonna get an adik early next year and soon she has company to play masak-masak with :)

Kuih Bulan

When everyone is so busy baking kuih tat, kuih makmur, chocolate chips, here we are making Mooncake...hehehe...



It was my sis idea and since she bought all the ingredients, why not? It was a success I must say. So take a look HEREfor the mooncake making session.

Ra Ra Bazaar!

We decided to have our iftar out of the house yesterday. Headed down to Bugis. As I was craving for Carrot Cake, we went to Banquet at RH for iftar. At last... dpt jugak aku makan carrot cake.. :)



Then we jalan2 kat Bazaar and it was such a disappointment. Nothing much over there except stalls selling food. Nampak gaya, geylang jugak aku kena turun. Tapi bila ye?

They Came!

Herda and Cute Lil Aini came by yesterday. Ash was asleep at that time and once he woke up, Lil Aini was so excited! Hehehe...Well, she has someone to play with now isnt it?



Herda bought the above for me.. Mooncake in a Cup Cake. Cuteness! Thanks alot babe! I have yet to try it...

We will be heading down to Kampong Glam today later in the evening :D

We Are Back!

Hey there! Finally I have the time to update my dusty blog. Well, we arrived here in Sg on 26Sept, in the evening. It was a surprise for my mom that she actually teared when she saw us.. hehe...

Hubby will be leaving back on the 10th while Ash and myself will be here till the 31st. So kita raya kat sini tanpa the Papa. Well wat to do, he has a major project coming up and has to start his work immediately.

Cartoon Network Fun Day Out



This week has been a busy one for us. Coz fasting is round the corner and we will be in Singapore soon thus we have to make use of all the remaining days before the fast to have fun. Yesterday we had a road trip to Sunway Lagoon. And today, we went to the Cartoon Network Fun Day Out.

It was held at PAF Museum (Pakistan Air Force Museum). Well, it wasnt held in the museum, rather it was in an open field there. It took us about 30mins to reach the place from home. It was hot but windy which was a good thing. We decided to bring our neighbour's son along, Junaid. There were lots of game stalls and freebies for the kids. Ash was so excited upon seeing Tom and Jerry, Johnny Bravo and Powerpuff Girls in action.

Since this was a busy one for us, come next week will be a shopping trip (to buy stuff to bring back to Sg)....bestnyer!! :D
