The future of writing is here.
Allium, A Journal of Poetry & Prose is a multi-genre print and online journal published by Columbia College Chicago's School of Communication and Culture.
Allium publishes three issues each year: one print issue in the Spring and two online issues in Summer and Fall.
Allium are flowering plants that include hundreds of species. Allium vary dramatically in size, shape, and color, and are cultivated as both vegetable and ornament. They naturally resist taxonomy. Allium aspires to create a similar resistance by publishing diverse creative voices, recognized and emerging writers, and a variety of forms and genres from the traditional to the experimental.
““Dear Somebody,” a multimedia piece by Nox Carmenate.
“The Escape from Mourne Mountains,” a short story you can play. Please enjoy Caden Wiles’ incredibly-compelling text-based, horror survival game. You can download the game here.
“You Want Me To Read This Straight?” Please enjoy this terrifying audio drama from Dylan Terry.
