Megan's Wedding

I was just going through some pictures, trying to decide which to give to my mother-in-law and noticed there were way too many that I never posted. I am not very good at this blog thing, and end up not posting some really cute pictures. Here are some of my favorites from Megan's (my sister's) wedding. She was such a gorgeous bride and the wedding was beautiful. We were so happy that we were able to travel to Utah for it (like we would miss it)! She is such a great sister and aunt! She planned the wedding and every detail perfectly!! Take a look at these cuties! I have about 1000 more to go through on my Mom's camera! We'll save that for another day! :)

I love how Luke is wrapped up in Megan's dress! It is too funny that he grabbed her dress and started playing with it!

Look at these cheesey boys!

Cousins are such a blessing! (not to mention best friends)

The sistas--we are glowing (pink)!!

Posted by PicasaThe happy couple! We are so excited to have Derrick in our family--they are now competing for the "favorite" spot among the kids. Megan used to have it by a landslide, but now she has some competition! The kids all love Uncle Derrick!

This is a usual day around our house. When it is way too quiet and Grant is nowhere to be found, it is time to go hunting for him! This is a common thing to find. Here is Grant with sprinkles all over his hands, face, and clothes. He was hiding behind a door eating sprinkles he had snuck from the kitchen! That boy gets into anything and everything! He is such a cutie!!

It Starts Already! What Else Can You Expect from a Fearless, "I can do it myself" Boy!!

Around the end of August we were at the park playing on a nice summer day. Luke decided to be a little adventurous and kept insisting that he could hang from a bar by himself. (It was actually a little lower than the monkey bars, so I didn't think it would end badly!) He decided he had had enough and let go (he tells people he fell). He landed on both feet, but the way he landed caused him to fracture his right foot. So, we experienced our first cast! I have actually been anticipating this day for awhile so I'm glad that we lasted this long! I have a feeling this won't be the last time! He wouldn't walk on it for about the first week. He said it hurt and I think it felt weird to put pressure on it too. I either carried him and his 40 pounds around or he crawled if we were somewhere that wasn't gross! After that first week, he was running and jumping. We were very excited to get that stinky thing off! They asked me if I wanted to keep it--do people do that? I have never broken anything, so I have no experience with broken bones and casts. What would you do with something so stinky??

A Current Family Picture!

I have totally neglected updating my blog! Here is a current picture of us. The kids have changed a lot since I last posted (about a year ago!). I need to organize my pictures and then will put more on here. This is us at Dan's brother, Greg's, wedding. The kids were so cute, but did not want to stay still and smile for a picture. More to come soon!

A Trip to the Zoo (May)

We decided to head to the Zoo early this year before it got too hot. We went on a perfect day with my sister and her family, and the kids had lots of fun. Luke loved riding on the little pony, Socks. The Columbus Zoo has a train ride, small boat ride, merry-go-round, playground, and a petting zoo that the kids love! Of course, they enjoyed seeing all of the animals as well.

Jeeps!

This is what Jeeps are for, right?! The kids LOVED this! This is thanks to my creative, multi-tasking husband!

Sweet Brothers!

I love this picture! Nothing is sweeter than boys who get along!
