Happy Fall Y'all!!

Fall is in the air!! Last Friday I took the day off of work since I had some friends fly and drive into town from CA,TX, and Raleigh. We headed to Simpsonville SC for the Third Day Family Picnic. My coworker texted me to say, "I think that your fall swap arrived today". I couldn't wait to get to work on Monday to see what Jeni had sent!! I didn't have my camera with me so I waited until I got home late Monday night and took pictures as I opened it.

Here is my FALL that sweet Jeni sent:

F- Footies and in my favorite color......PINK!

A- Adorable Apple Basket

L- Light....Yummy Apple Candle

L- Latte.....which the Pumpkin Spice is at Starbucks right now so that is definitely what this will be used for on a cool fall day!

Thanks so much Jeni!! Hope it feels like FALL soon for you in FL!
The swap was a lot of fun! Thanks again to Denise for organizing it!!

One of the best videos that you have seen all day

Really enjoyed seeing this and wanted to share it:

He is OUR father.
Not the sketch in the paper or a part of a skit on tv.
Many people will think that they know him.
But they will have no idea how he felt the day you were born.
The pride he felt on your first day of school.
Or how much you both love being his daughters.
Remember who your dad really is.

December...That's A Wrap

Whew! Where did December go?!? It was a very fun, exciting month filled with lots of family, friends, and fun times!! This is going to be a re-cap post, so hang in there!

To start things off, here is my tree this year.....pink, black, & silver. Definitely a girly tree. :O)

The month started off with a Christmas Party hosted by Ryan & Chas at Ryan's House. It was also a fundraiser for Chas' mission trip to Bulgaria that begins February 6. Please pray for the team that is going, I know that they would appreciate it.

Some fun friends enjoying the party....

Next was another small Christmas party at my sweet friends, Ashley & Britt's house...

My brother and his family came up a few weekends before Christmas to celebrate....we had a wonderful time! Then my parents & I went to Atlanta Christmas day to be with extended family. Here is a little slideshow of the family Christmas time.

The Saturday morning before Christmas, Hannah hosted a Christmas brunch for the BGEA kids club. It was so great to spend some time with everyone.

The Saturday before Christmas, the Six Pack got together. We went to see the lights in McAdenville and then went back to Jessica's house for a fiesta and Dirty Santa! Win, Lose, or Draw was also played......Six Pack style! Everything that we had to draw was something related to the Six Pack.....oh the laughs & memories!
What fun is a "normal" picture?!? Let's do something different.....JUMP!

Two of the Dirty Santa gifts. Don't YOU wish that you were the lucky recipient?!?

Some of the Win, Lose, or Draw action.

Hope your December was as WONDERFUL as mine!! Now let's shine and look fine in 2009!

Merry Christmas Y'all!

This past Thursday night, I headed to Asheville after work to see my favorite Rockstars, Third Day. When I arrived back at my house around 1AM, there was a large box on my porch. I KNEW that it was my Christmas Swap gift from Nancy.....even though I was exhausted and ready for bed, I had to open it up!

The first item that I saw was a cute acrylic tray that says "Merry Christmas Y'all" which will be perfect for placing some yummy baked goodies on for the Christmas parties this year.

Also included was a pack of napkins to go along with the tray.

And then there were these adorable kitchen towels!

Thanks SO MUCH Nancy!! Loved the wrapping paper too!
Merry Christmas Y'all!

Sweet Natalie

Sweet Natalie is now home with Jesus. She fought hard these past nine months........thankfully I had the opportunity to meet Natalie and help celebrate her 13th birthday a few weeks ago. The strength that she showed during this time has changed me........the strength of her family as they have walked through this with Jesus by their side has challenged/changed me. Natalie touched more lives for Him in her thirteen years than most people do in eighty years. What an amazing young lady! To see some of her thoughts and read about her story, click here. Please continue to lift up Kathy, Tom, and Will. My heart hurts with them and at the same time rejoices with them in the unspoiled joy that Natalie is in the presence of Jesus. I love NY!
