The Augusta Ranch HOA put on an Easter event on the 23rd (the same day as the Boeing open house) and since I am the newest board member (as of April 18th) I helped set up. Gianna had a great time with the petting zoo and crafts and of course the bounce houses. She wasn't so sure about the Easter bunny that was there though because the teenager inside didn't remember that "characters" aren't supposed to talk!
We then meet Oma and Opa at Boeing and had a fun time touring where Daddy works! We saw his office, the Apache flight simulator, the assembly line and while we were in line for pictures with an Apache we got to see the head of Boeing Mesa turn over the 2000th Apache to the U.S. Army. They even fed us Chipolte and Firehouse Subs for lunch.
That evening (after a 2 hour drive to Sedona) I had 4 1/2 hours of Coppelia rehearsal!
Whew. . Fun but busy day!
