Checking Cows

Payton LOVES riding with daddy.
She got to ride through the cows the other day since the ground was too wet drive through.  She went on her first ride outside of the arena to check the cows.  She loved it!

She also loves to give the horses a "bath" when she's all done.

Angels T-ball

Payton loves her first year of T-ball!  She asked me if I would sign her up again next.  She cracks me up! This is a picture of her first game, getting someone out at first! That's my girl!

Cody's Flight

Cody's dream is to be a Pilot someday...
He was able to go fly last weekend and had a blast!  The pilot he flew with let him fly in the pilot's seat, handle the controls for take off and for landing and everything in between.  He did awesome.  The pilot told him to stop "showing off" 'cause he did so good at it.  Obviously he doesn't know Cody very well...showing off is what he does best. (:

Happy Halloween

Payton loves her school mascot!  The Indians! She made a beautiful "Purple and Gold" Indian Princess.  Cody is slightly worried this outfit will make to some of his basketball games this year...I can't promise it won't.  She loves to cheer loud for her big brother.

Our ward Trunk or Treat party! The kids loved trying to rope the calf!
WOW!  She did it!

I couldn't leave "Batman?" out...

Family (at Terin's) Home Evening

We spent this last Monday at Terin's house for our first official 'get-together' since the in-laws left for Africa. We had a pumpkin carving competition...it just wouldn't be an Andrus activity without some kind of competition. I think Bret was the official winner...first to de-seed and carve their kids pumpkin.

The Race Begins...

The Winners...

My Favorite Team!

I think there was too much detail on this pumpkin to even come close to placing...

Brock couldn't get Blake to pose with him...maybe he was mad they didn't win...

Before we did the pumpkins we had a some snacks and sang Happy Birthday to Cody and Britta. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF YOU!

YUMMM!! These are dangerous. I got the idea from a friend of mine that just recently returned to the world of blogging!!! (Thanks Tam!) These things really were good. There was spice cake, vanilla, lemon, triple fudge chocolate, and red velvet! I can't make these too often...enough said.

Even Cash agreed that they were good.

We drew pictures for Grandma and Papa in Africa. Cody's was a picture of him dunking the basketball. We have always told him to dream BIG.

We ended the night by going over to Cody's Basketball game against Krum. We won...barely. But a "W" is a "W". And 4 of the 6 B's shut the gym down with a quick game of "scrap" ball. Sorry, I didn't get any pics of that. But it was definitely worth watching. Cody was glad everyone came out to the game. We missed those of you in the fam that weren't there!! Maybe next time, or another time soon!!

Family Reunion

We just spent a week in Park City, Utah for a family reunion. It was so fun. The weather was in the mid '80's. A great break from the 105 degree weather here in Texas. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
This is the cabin we all stayed at...

We spent a day at the lake...

It was great to get away and see my family!

Elm Fork

We spent an evening with our friends at their gun range. I love going out there any chance we have. Cody brought some friends and we had a great time shooting! Like Always.
