We spent this last Monday at Terin's house for our first official 'get-together' since the in-laws left for Africa. We had a pumpkin carving competition...it just wouldn't be an Andrus activity without some kind of competition. I think Bret was the official winner...first to de-seed and carve their kids pumpkin.
The Race Begins...

The Winners...

My Favorite Team!

I think there was too much detail on this pumpkin to even come close to placing...

Brock couldn't get Blake to pose with him...maybe he was mad they didn't win...

Before we did the pumpkins we had a some snacks and sang Happy Birthday to Cody and Britta. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF YOU!

YUMMM!! These are dangerous. I got the idea from a friend of mine that just recently returned to the world of blogging!!! (Thanks Tam!) These things really were good. There was spice cake, vanilla, lemon, triple fudge chocolate, and red velvet! I can't make these too often...enough said.

Even Cash agreed that they were good.

We drew pictures for Grandma and Papa in Africa. Cody's was a picture of him dunking the basketball. We have always told him to dream BIG.

We ended the night by going over to Cody's Basketball game against Krum. We won...barely. But a "W" is a "W". And 4 of the 6 B's shut the gym down with a quick game of "scrap" ball. Sorry, I didn't get any pics of that. But it was definitely worth watching. Cody was glad everyone came out to the game. We missed those of you in the fam that weren't there!! Maybe next time, or another time soon!!
