A recap.....
I have several bloggy friends that don't do facebook, which is where I posted all that was going on with Vivi, I just copied what I posted on FB. I know some of you would want to know.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 2, 2014
Prayers please. Vivi had a seizure this evening that lasted for a long time, she has been unresponsive since the seizure. We are in the ER and they gave her anti-seizure meds. They've taken blood and they did a cat scan on her. Right now, she is sound a sleep and is resting well.
Vivi is awake. PRAISE GOD! She has a terrible headache but they said that is expected. The ER doctor called Vivi's pediatrician and discussed everything and he wanted her to be transferred to Medical City Children's in Dallas to be seen by a neurologist and to have another cat scan done that can be seen more clearly. This afternoon Vivi had a headache and had a low grade temp, they're thinking possibly that when she took a hot bath it might have made her fever go up which could have caused the seizure. She has run high temps in the past and has never had a seizure before but that would be wonderful if that's what caused it. I'm so thankful that our pediatrician is so very thorough. I will keep you all posted. Thank you so very much for your prayers, comments, texts, calls and for those that came to the ER. We are so very blessed to have so many prayer warriors. I love you all so much!!!

Sorry, I'm just getting to update. I wanted to wait until we got some results from the tests. Vivi just showered and washed her hair and she's tucked in the bed. We got a great report from the EEG, it was NORMAL!!! PRAISE GOD!! Today she's had constant fever but Motrin does keep it down, before the Motrin wears off she'll sit up and talk but doesn't feel great but we have seen a little spunk back in our spunky girl today...Tate even grinned so big when he heard her get bossy because he knew she was going to be okay . I let her order what ever she wanted from the hospital menu....It was chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, a personal pan pizza for lunch and a hamburger with 3 jellos and 2 SPRITES (soda is only a special occasion drink)....she may never want to come home...HAHA. All her blood work looked great so most likely it's viral...they are checking her for RSV and several different flu strains but the results aren't in yet. The doctor said they don't usually see seizures brought on by fever in kids her age, usually in babies or young children but it still could be caused from that. In the morning they are going to do an MRI...they are very thorough and I'm glad they are. We have been given the best care here at Medical City Children's, they are wonderful. I can't begin to tell you all how much I appreciate your comments, texts, calls and most importantly, your prayers! I love you all dearly!!

Just got GREAT NEWS and ANSWERED PRAYERS!!!!! The MRI was normal. Vivi does have flu A....the doctor thinks possibly the seizure was brought on by the flu. We get to go home today!!!!! Thank you so much for your prayers!!!!! Love you all!
As we were leaving the hospital, Vivi grinned real big and said, "I'M FREE!!!" Praising God that my girl is free!

Vivi is feeling much better. NO FEVER today at all. Thank you Tamiflu, you are super expensive but worth every penny!!!

Vivi's Birthday Eve
Vivi Jo-Jo turns 10 yrs old tomorrow. We’re giving her a double day celebration. Today we made a trip to Dallas. When we go to a Dallas the Chinese market is always a treat for everyone. Vivi loves her some boba tea! Now we are on our way to Studio Movie Grill to see the movie Frozen….Hayden is meeting us….YAY! Tomorrow we will have her birthday lunch and cake and of course she’ll be QUEEN of the Day…she’s pulling the QUEEN card today as well…LOL…I can’t tell you how many times she has reminded us that she’s the QUEEN…HAHA…(Max calls her the Birthday Diva…HA)
Waiting for the movie to start. What did we do before we had games on our phones. LOL

Tate's First Duck Hunt
