Keeping the Faith Alive

“Then I turned my face to the Lord God, seeking him by prayer and pleas for mercy with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.” (Daniel 9:3)

Christians in the Middle East

More than 700,000 people have been displaced in Lebanon as they flee to escape the violence and chaos of the 2026 Iran War.

Again, as is the case time and again for this devastated country, the Church has opened its heart and doors to those fleeing, to those fearful and to those exhausted.

In Saida, Greek Melkite Bishop Elie Haddad described the terrifying reality: “Missiles are flying over our heads.” Although the area has not yet been directly hit, schools have been opened to shelter the displaced, and parish centers are filling with families fleeing bombardments. Most of the displaced, though, are living on the street or in their cars.

Please reach out today. Time is of the essence. God bless you.

Lent: A Sacred Journey

Help our missionaries carry their cross.

Lebanon

The Franciscan Sisters of the Cross care for the most vulnerable of Lebanese faithful, those with emotional disabilities, many abandoned by their families. They are asking our help for medicine for 1,000 patients .

My Lenten Gift

Mozambique

Religious sisters are vital to the Church. They teach children, give catechesis and care for the sick. For all they give, especially in a country with so much suffering, can we help them in their time of need?

My Lenten Gift

Burkina Faso

The Missionary Brothers of the Countryside are caring for victims of terror, those homeless and living in camps. Your donation will provide food to one of 200 displaced families in the care of these brothers.

A message from the Holy Father during our private audience

Your commitment extends to supporting the Church’s mission across the world by reaching communities that are too often isolated, marginalized or under pressure.

Wherever Aid to the Church in Need rebuilds a chapel, supports a religious sister, or provides for a radio station or a vehicle, you strengthen the life of the Church, as well as the spiritual and moral fabric of society. And as I’m sure you’re aware, your organizations has helped many of the missions in Peru, including in the Dioceses of Chiclayo, where I was privileged to serve.

Dear friends, I thank each of you for this work of solidarity. Do not grow weary of doing good (cf. Gal 6:9), for your service bears fruit in countless lives and gives glory to our Father in heaven.

Aid to the Church in Need is a Catholic charity under the guidance of the Holy Father. Since 1947, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have served the spiritual and humanitarian needs of our suffering and persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.

Request a Mass for Your Intentions
