It has been one week since Cassidy was born, I took her to the pediatrician and to a two day visit with my Midwife, other than that we have been home. Today Kaylee woke up so grumpy! It was a difficult morning and my mom came by so I thought that it might do us some good to get out of the house. Kaylee needed some sandals, so I thought that we could do a "quick" trip to Wal-Mart, she is a shoe lover and she needed some cheering up:) For some reason Kaylee decided that she wanted her Daddy and was crying for him on the way to the store, not just crying, but screaming "Daddy, Daddy" I even called him to share the moment. I told my mom that I must need to learn how to be more patient today. While in Wal-Mart things didn't go as I had planned. There were very few shoes at all. No Dora sandals, and Kaylee is still grumpy. Then Cassidy starts to cry, I really wanted to keep her safe from the germs and not take her out of the car seat, but the crying persists, so I end up holding her. Then an announcement "Could the owner of a green Honda Odyssey Mini-Van...." Yes- it was mine. Apparently someone trying to park next to me hit the van and left. A nice boy and his Mom got the plate number and had called the police. So I am in a hurry to pay and get out to the parking lot and my debit card is denied, wrong pin, it can't be. It is only after I get home that I realise that my old debit card was canceled and I had not created a new pin for the new card, it would have run fine as credit. Kaylee is pulling on my and crying and I am seriously on the verge of tears. I finally get my things paid for and take Cassidy out to the parking lot and my Mom took the kids into Subway to eat, thank goodness for my Mom! It is our first day of 80 degree weather, I had a light blanket up to shade Cassidy but when I got back into the store she was beat red, I felt so bad. Finally we get the kids into the car, Cassidy is screaming her tiny head off and I see the officer with a car pulled over. I stopped and it was the car who had hit mine. Long story made short... I never want to leave the house again. I told Todd that the van is on empty, he can go fill it up for me in case there is an emergency, but I plan on never leaving. I have a cute little 2 year old if anyone wants one:) She loves Daddy and Dora the Explorer, and she still needs a pair of sandals.
(FYI, I am very possessive and I am only kidding about giving her away. So all of you freaks out there better steer clear! Did anyone watch Dr. Phil today?)

Cassidy came home at 10:00 pm on the 15th, the kids were so excited to see her! Braden was the only one who fell asleep, he was thrilled in the morning when he got to meet his baby sister.
I have given birth 5 times now! That is so crazy. It never grows old, birth is such a miracle. We feel so blessed to have one more sweet angel to care for.
If you were wondering...yes we are done:)

A day at the farm
My sister Julie had her baby on Tuesday. He is just adorable, they named him Owen Michael Hansen. I'm anxiously counting down the weeks, I have 7 left! We are still undecided on a name, but I'm sure that she will have one before she comes home.

Buns in the oven!
I'm feeling much better, the floridix (iron) is working great, my iron is back to normal! I'm so glad that there was such an easy solution, I would have eaten worms if it would help!
I'm feeling really blog blocked! I will try to do better:) If I didn't enjoy reading your blogs I would just bag it! It's such a good way for the out of touch to keep in touch.

I need to pump some iron!
I am now 26 weeks pregnant, this has by far been my hardest pregnancy. I was feeling so tired all of the time. After I got dressed I would have to sit down and rest. Walking up the stairs made my heart pound and I would be out of breath. I would make the kids lunch and end up sitting down on the kitchen floor to eat mine, so I didn't have to walk ALL the way to the table, plus I was closer to the refrigerator if they needed something else (please don't need anything else). Along with this total exhausting came excessive tears and emotions. Finally I decided that maybe it wasn't normal so I asked my Midwife to check my iron. Sure enough my hemoglobin was at a 7, and that means severe anemia. I was relieved to know that I might actually feel human again! I have been taking an herbal iron supplement for almost 2 weeks now and I think it's starting to work!
I read an article that said that the second trimester is by far the easiest and most comfortable, I laughed and really hoped that it was wrong in my case.
