LUCKY ME HAPPY LIFE LAYOUT | with Tarrah

There’s nothing quite like documenting everyday happiness, and the gorgeous Lucky Me Collection makes it impossibly fun! For today’s scrapbook layout, I leaned all the way into bright colors, playful patterns, and cheerful icons to celebrate a moment that truly represents a happy life.

This layout starts with the gorgeous rainbow‑filled 'Rainbow Skies' patterned paper, instantly setting a joyful tone. The repeating rainbows create a whimsical background, perfect for everyday memories that deserve a little extra sunshine. To add visual interest, I folded back 2 corners of the paper to reveal the sunny yellow gingham pattern on the back! Layering this over the vibrant pink 'My Lucky Charm' patterned paper, the folds in the paper point right toward the photo and drawing the eye straight to the heart of the page.

Speaking of adorable details—can we talk about the smiling sunshine icons? These sweet little characters add such personality and warmth to the layout. Paired with fluffy cloud die-cuts, hearts, and tiny accents all from the 'All The Things' ephemera pack, they help tell the story without overwhelming the photo.

The photo is matted simply to keep the focus on the memory, while small sentiment stickers like “love it” and “so happy” tuck in perfectly around it. These simple phrases add meaning and reinforce the carefree, happy theme of the page.

For the title, I mixed and matched text die-cuts to create “happy LIFE”, letting the word LIFE to stand out in fresh green tones. The title was adhered using craft foam to add dimension to the page.

My tip: When working with bold patterned papers like those in the Lucky Me Collection, try using strong geometric shapes (like triangles or angled panels) to help guide the eye around the page. Not only do they add playful movement, but they’re also a great way to spotlight your photo without needing lots of extra embellishments. Let the patterns and colors do the happy work for you!

One of my favorite things about the Lucky Me Collection is how effortlessly everything works together. The icons, patterns, colors, and sentiments are all perfectly coordinated, making it easy to create a polished layout while still having fun with playful designs.

If you’re looking to document everyday moments, special memories, or simply celebrate the joy in your life, the Lucky Me Collection is truly a must‑have. Bright, happy, and full of charm—just like the memories it helps preserve. Happy creating!

LUCKY ME SPRING BOOK MARKS | with Niella

Hey crafty friends, how fast is March going! St. Patrick's Day may be over for 2026 but crafty inspiration thankfully never ends so I'm happy to have you visit today to check out my latest Doodlebug Design project doodle twine bookmarks! It's no secret doodle twine is one of my fave DB products to create with as it adds that extra texture, dimension and darling!  I have a video showcase at the end of this post, so stay tuned!

Each of these darling bookmarks are created on white cardstock bases that measure 6.5" x 2.5".  On top of that, I've layered patterned paper, then coordinating cardstock and then a piece of white textured cardstock for some white space to write on decorate further on.

Foam squares are my absolute go to for lifting and creating 3D layers on my embellishments and projects.  I've used the icon stickers for all the elements on my bookmarks, don't they look super cute all popped out!

Each bookmark has an eyelet set loop hole and I've threaded through a contracting twine and looped them randomly around and adhered them to the bookmark to stay in place.  How cute do the all look together.  These would be great on scrapbook pages and in mini albums or planners as well.  The white bubble cardstock on front of each serves as a great area for mini photos or journaling.

How many uses can you think of for bookmarks?  These are designed to have the bottom half tucked in your book page and the top part sitting above your closed book.  Easy to mark where you're next page starter is!

I also love the idea of popping each one into either some books to gift, or tucking into a gift hamper with some fresh baking or how about sending a couple in happy mail.  So many ideas and so many uses!

Thank you again for visiting crafty crew! I hope you found some inspiration today! Please remember to tag Doodlebug Design in your Socials when you create with our products so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations! Until next time; doodle doo!  Enjoy my video showcase!

LUCKY ME ALTERED NOTEBOOK | with Karen

I love making lists. I make them almost everyday. There is something so satisfying about getting all of those tasks crossed off and feeling like you have actually accomplished something!

So I decided to decorate up a plain little journal to capture more of my lists! Given how much I love Doodlebug, it seems like a match made in heaven.

It was actually this cute little Just Charming keychain that inspired the project. I wanted a reason to carry it around, and clipping it to the binding of the notebook seemed like a great option.

But is seemed so lonely on the notebook so I had the embellish it with some beautiful Color Me Happy 12x12 paper and a few die cuts from the All the Things pack. A few Sprinkles and a bit of Doodle Twine in Swimming pool added a little bit of texture to the front.

I also found some of these cute tags on the This & That Sticker sheet. I added them in about every 20 pages just to divide the notebook up a bit and to add a bit more Doodlebug colour!

Finally, I added a little sheet of Mini Icon Stickers into the back of the notebook. Because let's be real - the only thing better than a list is one embellished with Doodlebug stickers. This will be like a gift that just keeps on giving!

I can't wait to get started in the notebook. I can hear the lists calling my name! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,
