So, I posted about half of our California trip below and have not gotten to the other half. I tried to post them in order of actual days so they should start around July 1. I should have the other half up soon.

We are back from our fantastic vacation in Oceanside, California. I feel like it will literally take at least a week or two to catch up with all my posts and blogging. Please be patient as I know you already have. We really had a great time and it was hard to come home but now that we are home things are wonderful and we are glad to be here. Hope everyone is doing great and I can not wait to catch up on all of you blogs. Just to let you know Our Oceanside vacation will be the last posts on this blog. We got to meet up with our good friends Lizz and Ethan while in California. We met them back in Texas and they just happened to be vacationing there the same month we were. Out first meet up was a trip to Legoland. We had a fantastic time and Alissa kissed her first boy besides family. It was so much fun to meet up with these guys because they are an absolute blast. We sure got lucky!

These are the only two pictures I took from Ruby's, but we went there a lot. Ruby's is on the pier in Oceanside so we would walk down there and eat on the water. As you can see behind Kenzie it was worth it to watch the boats and feel the nice cool breeze out there on the deck. The kids each had their first pineapple sundae too which was a hit for about three bites and then what do you know? Alissa is done because it is too sweet! Kenzie had no problem with his though, way to go happy cutie boy(as he likes to be called)

My Uncle Chuck and Aunt Dori drove down for a visit while we were there and it was so wonderful to see them. I didn't get any pictures of Aunt Dori but I wanted to post this one because it truly show the kind of people my Aunt and Uncle are. The minute they showed they started playing with the kids. It is so wonderful to have their example of such fantastic people. I am so thankful we got to see them!

I just wanted to share some of the shots of the kids chillin' on the beach. They had so much fun and enjoyed relaxing there. Alissa spent lots of her time making other friends, especially older ones and playing in the wet sand. Kenzie loved splashing in the waves and playing with his brother and sister. A few times I caught him falling asleep in the sand. Taft loved trying to catch the water as the tide came in and out and walking on the sand. We are so blessed to have had this opportunity of pure bliss.

We hung out at the outlet mall in Carlsbad several times just because of the super fun toy store/learning center. The kids had a blast and I almost felt like they were going to ask us to start paying room and board fees. We also walked around and looked at the shops and played in all the fountains we were not suppose to play in. Gotta love Carlsbad and shopping! Oh and where Alissa learned peace I have no clue...maybe she picked it up from local tourists.

We went to a Christmas in July festival and had a very long fun day. In fact you see how long because Kenzie fell asleep getting his face painted.

We went back to Legoland two days later for another afternoon at Legoland. This time we spent most of the time at the Splash pads. It was great fun watching Taft with the fountains. He would walk up to them and then they would change places and shoot him in the face and the shock would make him laugh and then try and hit it away.

Hi everyone. I am posting this from my phone and hoping you get it. I thought we would have Wu fi here in Cali but we don't. This is my first time in over a week to find an area where I could get hi enough signals on my phone to post on my blog. We are having an absolute blast here and walking on the beach a ton. I have so many fun pictures to share with everyone and I am going to a cafe with Wi fi so that I can post soon. Sorry everyone. Hope you are all great!!!

Here we are on our second Surrey adventure! This was probably Kenzie's favorite thing to do out of the whole trip. We would ride up and down the Strand along the beach and let me tell you it was a good work out! The whole time we were at the beach house if he heard a bell he would run to the window or the balcony to watch the Surrey's ride by.

I decided to take all three kids to Legoland by myself and it actually went fantastic! We couldn't ride very many rides because most of the rides there require an adult until 48 inches tall but the ones we could ride were a blast! We went around 4 o'clock after the major crowds were gone and the kids had so much fun! Even Taft got to ride a few rides. I appreciated how well behaved everyone was and most people would just stare or say, "Wow, are they all yours?" or "Are you really here alone?" I am really glad we spent some time just the four of us.
