Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas season. Shawn was home most of December!

Lincoln and Oliver's Elves Rigadimp and Zupadap dropped off Christmas shirts for the boys and Adria at the beginning of December.

The boys each wrote a letter to Santa complete with hand drawn pictures.

We visited the Mesa Temple lights.  We were able to sit and view the Christus, watch the new Nativity movie and enjoy the beautiful lights and music on the Temple grounds. The kids were so good and I know that they felt the Spirit. They both kept saying things like "I just love you Mom/Dad" and when I look at the Nativity I feel kind of emotional. This was an awesome family night, probably one of our best!

We enjoyed Christmas Eve with all the aunts, uncles and cousins at my parents house. We did our usual delicious dinner and then read the Christmas Story and sang Christmas Hymns.

Christmas morning...

Santa ate the cookies we made with Olivia and Emma, unfortunately I couldn't find the memory card and wasn't able to take pictures of that event.

After opening our presents we went back over to my parents house.

This was gag gift from my dad to my mom. He really got her a beautiful pair of earrings.

Eryn made Linc and O hand-crochet superhero masks!

And a princess crown and wand!

We all chipped in and got my dad a new laptop.

Merry Christmas from The AZ Jensen's

DC4Ever - OKC 2013

In November Shawn went on a "Dudes Trip" with his high school buddies, Jimmy & Spencer. On day 1, they hung out in Dallas (where Spencer lives) and visited the Dallas Cowboys Stadium which, by the way, has one of the BIGGEST HD Big Screen TV's in the world. So naturally, Shawn felt like he had pretty much reached technological nirvana. They also went to the 6th Floor JFK memorial museum and Dealy Plaza in downtown Dallas.

Day 2 found them, 3 guys, driving a 15 person van to Oklahoma City where they visited the OKC Bombing Memorial. The trip capped off that night at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in OKC for Pearl Jam's Lightning Bolt tour which can be summarized by the following, heard multiple times over the next few weeks:

"It totally rocked!!! So awesome! Wow! Seriously the best concert ever. Wow! Where are they playing next?"

Thanksgiving

 Thanksgiving Turkey's

Dinner was delicious! And it was so fun to have my Grandma Naum with us!

Lincoln played football, soccer, and kickball ALL afternoon!

We have so much to be thankful for.
