Getting Back Slowly!
So I finally got a computer--not the i-mac I was dreaming of...something about Santa having a budget. But we did get a new hard drive and now I can get back to spending more time on the computer than I should. Case in point, it is 1am and I am blogging about my new fun background!!! Isn't it great!
I finally put photoshop on and had a little fun while everyone is asleep. Now comes the real fun of putting all my pictures back on and tagging and editing them. It will still be sad not having any my pics from the last year, but at least I have a few that I had printed out.
So over the next weeks and months I slowly will be downloading and organizing my pics--I think I had well over 10,000!
Makayla, Sydney, and Camryn are playing soccer this season, and we have practices for one or the other Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and then games on Satureday. We won't be busy at all!
I'm excited to see Camryn play, it will be her first time and she is SUPER excited!!! Makayala really loves it, she loves to play goalie and defender and is very good! Sydney amazed us last season as well at being more aggressive. She has more of a timid personality but didn't show that on the soccer field.
Kylie will keep us chasing her through it all. She is our two year old with a vengence and makes it her priority that she is the priority! How is it that someone so small can rule us all?!?!
Well hopefully soon I can some pics of the girls on here. The one on the header is one of newest and my favorite of the girls--it is soooo hard to get all 4 smiling and looking the right direction!

If only I had blogged
If only I had blogged better I wouldn't be in such mourning. Last week our computer COMPLETELY crashed and took with it all of my pictures from 2009! Luckily before we moved last year I downloaded all of my pictures prior to that on CD. But a whole years worth of pictures and all of my photoshop fun have been lost!!! I must admit quite depressing!
So now I have learned the hard way to always, ALWAYS back up EVERYTHING and blog more so I can have those memories forever.
By being computer-less these past few days it has surprised me how much I use my computer. Luckily I can get on Jared's work computer in the evening to check e-mail. But its amazing how many times in the day I find myself thinking I will go look that up online or what not and can not. How did we all survive before we had Internet and computers?!?!?!
The other worst part is that I love to send out Christmas cards to all of our friends and family but with the loss of the computer goes the loss of our address book! So I will be e-mailing when I get my new computer to get everyone's address again.
So, Santa if you are reading this, all I want for Christmas is a new Mac!
Also, does anyone know of a good place to take your hard drive to, just in the chance that they can recover any of my data? From what I have gathered from a few of our friends from looking at our computer, is that it doesn't sound like my hard drive is in good shape. Although, I'm still praying that there may be a chance to still get some of my pics off of it.

I WON!
So last week was customer appreciation week at Chick-Fil-A and they were doing free breakfast all week--and so we went several times--who can pass up a yummy free breakfast? Definitely not me! By the register they had a drawing to win a few different prizes--and so I entered not thinking much of it becuase I have never won off of a drawing before but......
I WON a YEAR'S WORTH OF CHICK-FIL-A SANDWICHES!!!! WooHoo!
Luckily this is one fast food place I LOVE and so do the girls!
Other great news--we leave for the beach in 2 days!!!!!

Cruise FUN!!!
Jared and I did a last minute cruise getaway at the beginning of June! By last minute I mean we booked it Friday night and left Thursday morning!!! We had been wanting to get away just the 2 of us and the prices on Carnival were to great to pass up! It was just a 4 day 3 night cruise. We left San Diego Thursday, Friday we were in Catalina, Saturday was a fun day at Sea and then we were back to San Diego on Sunday. It was so fun to be together, relax, read, and EAT (I think we both gained 5 pounds in one weekend)
They had a fun minature golf course on the top of the ship but it was so windy that as soon as you hit the ball the wind would just role it away from where you hit it. Jared got a hole in one--me on the other hand not so good--golf is definately not my game!
Jared lost count to how many ice cream cones he ate!!!
We read and read and read! Jared read a whole book in one weekend! I was quite impressed--he's usually not that much of a reader.
Can you tell that I have Arizona blood in me? Here I am "laying" out in socks, jeans, and a jacket with the hood on--I was soooo cold! But I was in the minority if you look behind me there is a lady laying out in her bikini much like the rest of the boat!
Catalina was BEAUTIFUL!
We rented a tandem bike on Catalina and rode around the city. It was fun and it was great to get some exercise after all the food we had been eating!
We were able to see some cool ocean animals!
The seals were on the bouyees (sp?) going out of San Diego and the Dolphins were following the the boat, we also got to see a whale unfortunately I didn't get a picture but it was so cool to see it blow out of its blow hole.
It was such a fun trip!! Thanks Mom and Dad and Denae and Tanya for taking such great care of my girls! I think they had as much fun as we did!
