Family night this week was a little bit dirty, but the kids were so excited to be starting our garden! We planted carrots, cucumbers, spinach, swiss chard, mixed greens and the peas are going to be planted outside this week! So excited for summer salad!

Real Men
Real men attend tea parties when their four-year-old requests their attendance. Real men dress up when said four-year-old hands them clothes and says, "Put it on Daddy!"
Happy Birthday Daddy!

Back to school!
Back to school we go...
Corbin had some serious anxiety the morning of his first day! He did not want to go. He threw a fit about taking pictures, so this is the best I got! Luckily when I walked him to his class he jumped right in line and marched right in. He really likes his teacher and is also having a great year!

Choices!
While diving home tonight I told the kids they had a "choice". They could either get their jobs done tonight so that we could just get up and go swimming in the morning, or they could do them in the morning and go swimming a little later. Here's the conversation that followed.
Aldey(with a very concerned, serious voice): Mom, I lost my choices. They are not in my room. I can't find them.
Mom: You lost your choices?
Adley: Yes. They aren't in my room. I can't find them.
Brecklyn: Adley, you can't loose your choices.
Adley: Yes you can. Where are your choices?
Brecklyn: I don't know.
Adley: That means you lost them Brecklyn!

Game night!
We've had a really busy and fun game season this year. Kinzlee, Adley and Brecklyn played soccer and Corbin wanted to try baseball. Kinzlee has become really fast this year. No matter where the ball was, she would hustle and stay right on it. Way to go Kinzer! Adley and Brecklyn were hilarious to watch. Brecklyn's first game she kept picking up the ball and holding it over her head, away from the other girls trying to get it. Adley would just follow the crowd and smile! Corbin is our little born an athlete. He was so great they asked him to try out for all stars. He tried out yesterday and made the team. Looks like our June and July are now full. He better appreciate this someday! Way to go guys! Mom loved watching you play!

- never has a plan
- loves to read books, play dress up, play house and barbies

Birthday girl number two:
- loves cuddles
- has a petite, sweet voice
