Have you ever seen a Wordle?
Here's a neat web tool from a site called "wordle". You put words that are related somehow, click "create" and watch it build a wordle - you can then customize or randomize colors and layout. Check it out.

Fort Worth Museum of Science & History
We made our second visit to the FWM of Science & History this afternoon and as usual, we had a lot of fun. They have lots of hands-on experiences for the little guys which prompted us to become members a couple of weeks ago. We chose to get a level of membership that allows us entrance for 5 - so come on grandparents! We are ready for you! Enjoy a few pics from today! You might notice a fierce example of Case's karate moves - you'll have to ask him about his new karate class!

Cake Bites for SCS!

Hi Everyone! Thank you for taking a second to look at our blog. We had a great time this weekend making these cake bites for you all. I figured I would need to provide some photographic evidence of the fact that this truly was a family affair! We all had a hand in making them, and since they have been cooked I assume that they are safe to eat. They are red velvet with cream cheese icing coated with vanilla or chocolate almond bark. Here's the process (just so you will appreciate them a bit more) 1.)Bake the cake and crumble it after it is done 2.)Add the cream cheese icing to the crumbled cake, mix well 3.)Freeze mixture 4.)Take the mixture out and form the cake bites, refreeze after putting them on a skewer 5.)Melt the almond bark, spoon the bark onto the cake bites individually, tap (don't spin) off the excess icing, sprinkle with toppings immediately (they harden really fast). The pics that I have give some idea about the process. Just know that we had a great time making them and we hope that you enjoy them! We wish you and yours a merry Christmas, we thank God for you and for the chance to be a part of the SCS family.

...ate lots of great food, enjoyed time with our family...we're blessed!
We made the "Texas Tour" for Thanksgiving....started out with the Richards & Hodge bunch in Clarendon, TX @ The High Card Ranch...and ended in Abilene and at Papa Doc & KK's ranch. Wild turkeys all over the great state of Texas are now in fear of Case. ;)
