Kindergarten Bound

Zackary is now old enough to go to Kindergarten. He is so excited. He has his new school clothes/shoes/supplies. He wants to wear his new shoes so bad, it is hard for him to have to wait.

Yes, you read the heading right. We are expecting baby #3. The baby is expected to make its appearance Feb 22, 2013. It was a shock to us, we were not expecting it or planning it. As the time marches on we are getting more and more excited. Zackary really really wants a baby brother. MaKenzie is to little to care or know what is going on. As for Keith and I, we don't care the sex of the baby, we just want a healthy baby.

Most of this pregnancy I have had really bad headaches. It makes it hard to function, but I manage.
I have not gained to much weight at this point, only maintained. I am hovering at about 173. I am worried about my B/P. It runs a little higher than it did with my other 2 kids.

I plan to keep this blog going to keep people informed of our progress and to also document my experience.

Missing in Action

WOW! It has been a while since I have posted anything. Lets just say a lot has been going on in our life, but we are still here and living.

Rollin on Over!

My baby girl is getting so big.
Yesterday she rolled over for the first time (4 1/2 months old) !
She has been trying to get it figured out
for several weeks now.
Zackary was laying on the floor next to her and
she wanted to get him and the next thing we
knew, over she went.
We clapped and shouted, "Good job MaKenzie, you did it"

Cute Kids

Zackary just loves to hold his sister.
MaKenzie tolerates it pretty well!
The other day, MaKenzie licked Zackary's face while he was holding her, he didn't like that so much. He wiped he face and said, "Mom, she licked me. MaKenzie don't do that anymore."

2 Months!

WOW! 2 Months already??? MaKenzie is such a great addition to our family.
We all love her very much.
MaKenzie sleeps GREAT! Like 8 hrs a night. I can't complain about that!

Santa Clause is coming to town

Keith had his company party this last week and evey year

Santa comes to visit and gives the kids presents.

Zackary was very excited to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what

he wanted for Christmas! MaKenzie decided to stay asleep. :)

Zackary got a toy guitar, which he loves, and MaKenzie got a play mat.

Christmas Lights Gone Wild

This is Zackary's favorite thing to watch. This song came on the raido this morning and he said, "Mom this song goes with the Christmas Lights"

ZOO part 1

One of the things we wanted to make sure we
did while in Oregon, was take Zackary to the Zoo.
He was so excited to go see the animals. That was the
only thing he thought we were going to Oregon for, silly
kid.

Here is Zackary with his favorite animal.
He watches "Happy Feet" all the time!

It was fun to watch the penguins eat their food (little fish)
but holy cow it stunk so bad. GROSS!

In April we took a family vacation and went to Oregon to
visit Keith's side of the family. We got in late(way past bed time) the first day so we didn't
do anything but go to bed. The next morning
Zackary wanted to go outside and play. Grandpa Griggs decided
to get the lawn tractor and trailer out and give
Zackary a ride. Zackary thought this was great. Here is Zackary
waiting for Grandpa.
