Leila Belle is Baptized

Today Leila Belle was baptized by her dad and confirmed by her Papa Pal as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She has been looking forward to this day for a long time and was so excited to have all of the love and support she did on this special day.  We had over 60 people from out of town and in town there for her!  This girl is seriously blessed!  It was a busy day with her baptism and confirmation in the morning, a baptism/birthday party in the afternoon and then a soccer game in the evening!  It was a FUN and BUSY day!  We loved having so many of our friends and family come down to our neck of the woods and spend some time seeing what we do and where we live.

Leila,

I am so proud of you and your decision to be baptized!  You are such a good example to me, daddy, Dexter and Anistyn.  Thank you for always being so positive and excited about things.  I know that you will work hard to make good choices and to do your best to live like your brother Jesus Christ did.  I know that He is proud of you today too.

Remember!  No matter how hard life might get sometimes, you can ALWAYS turn to your Heavenly Father and brother, Jesus Christ to find peace, happiness and comfort!  NO MATTER WHAT, they will ALWAYS be there for you.  Pray often to thank your Heavenly Father for all the good things in your life and for all the lessons have learned and are learning.  Ask Him for help when you need it.  He will guide you and direct you in your life and is always mindful of you and the desires of your heart.

I love you Toots!!  Today is a day I am VERY proud of you!

Love,
Mommy

Easter

It was a busy Easter weekend!  The Friday before Easter, we went to church with our friends Keith and Brittany.  They belong to a different church then us.  It was fun to see how other people celebrate Easter and how they do it in their church as well!  The kids loved the music and instruments!!  Saturday we had a fun little Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ with the neighbors. Then on Easter morning we just chilled at home and enjoyed each other.  Our church had General Conference on Easter Sunday so there was no attending church that day.  But my kids sure did look cute in their Easter get ups!
