Lake Powell 2012

Words can't express how much I love Lake Powell. We went every year when I was growing up & I love the memories that were made there. In Sept of 2012 we were able to go and my love for it is still the same! Even though now I am the adult & have to do all the hard work & worry when boats don't work but it is worth every stressful second. Since it was the beginning of their off season we were able to find an awesome place to dock where it felt like we were the only people there. It was awesome. I love not having a place to go or a thing to do but eat & sleep. It is good for the soul.

Eme still asks to go back all the time. Tayden was a bit young to remember but he still had fun.

Here is hoping we making back again someday!!

Summer 2012

Over my birthday to celebrate our 8th anniversary a few weeks early Jer & I went to North Cali. We stayed in Lake Tahoe one night, two nights with my uncle in San Fran then made our way down the coast and stayed a night in Pismo Beach. Great little getaway.

A couple weeks after that Eme I flew to Denver to visit Janice. We love our visits with her birth family.

We also spent a few days at Kyle & Janel's and got to see their new house! It was great till Eme got sick. All over me on Memorial day. A Memorial Day to remember thats for sure!

That summer we also sold our Maxima and upsized to this Buick Enclave.

The most exciting thing to happen that summer was for Eme to start Kindergarten at Foothills Elementary! So grown up!
Her teacher was Ms Martin and her best friends were Audrey & Addison

Winter-Spring 2012

When its cold outside we have to make our own fun inside! And Eme's hair is always good for that!

Eme's second year of soccer! Jer was her coach again & she did awesome this year! Little soccer star getting at least a couple goals a game until the last couple games when she decided she wanted to try & goal keep so she would race & usually bet the other team down to their goal & kick it away. She did great but Tayden was kind of a nightmare because he would cry & cry cause he wanted to play. So fun for me.

Trying my hand at this blogging thing again. Here is hoping that I can stick with it! I really love looking back at how the kids have grown. And there were so many things that I had forgotten! Sad to think of the things that I haven't written down & now are forgotten for good but here is to making a change for the future.
