A Very Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

My sister-in-law took these pictures - LOVE them! She is an amazing photographer. Check her out at Missy Ann Photography on facebook or missyannphotography.com

Karis is almost 4 and will be starting pre-school in the fall. For now I'm enjoying my time with her at home!
Caleb is in Kindergarten and loving it. He is doing so well and always says his high for the day was getting to play football outside at recess.
We are so thankful for all that God has blessed us with, especially our wonderful family and friends.

Kindergarten

Caleb started Kindergarten yesterday. I can hardly believe it. Seems like yesterday he was my cuddly little baby. His school had a BooHoo/Yahoo breakfast yesterday, but I managed to make it until I got in the car to cry :) Karis and I are both adjusting to not having Caleb around during the day, but he loves it. So proud of this handsome boy of mine.

Summer Fun

We've been having lots of fun this summer. About 3 weeks ago we got a puppy! I have wanted a chocolate lab for years. His name is AJ - he's super cute and fun - except when he pees on my floor.

My mom made this outfit, and I wore it as a little girl.

Karis' first movie at the real theater

Caleb and daddy in their matching hats

Swim lessons - Caleb can officially swim now! No floaties for this guy.

Always silly

Birthdays

Caleb turned 5 in April, and to celebrate we went on a family camping trip. Lots of fun with cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents!

They look like they belong out in the wild...

Karis turned 3 in February. She wanted a Tinkerbell party...lots of fun with family and friends!

First Camping Trip

Marc and I both grew up camping, and some of our best childhood memories are from those trips. We were so excited to start making those memories with Caleb and Karis. We took our first official camping trip to Dinosaur Valley. Caleb is super obsessed with dinosaurs right now, so seeing the tracks and all the dinosaurs was perfect.
 Setting up the tent

Isn't that so sweet? She's becoming quite the daddy's girl!
Seeing all the dinosaur models at Dinosaur World...was a big hit

 Digging for fossils
Hot dogs - first meal cooked on the campfire
In the tent...not sleeping. We did very little of that! Definitely wise to only go for 1 night our first trip. Thunder. Lightning. 2 deliriously hyper children. You get the picture :)

Chilly morning - the kids loved getting to have another fire
 Actual dinosaur track

  A little hiking

Was a great trip!
