I can't believe it is almost fall. It is my favorite time of the year. The house is decked out for fall and I am anxiously awaiting the day after Thanksgiving so I can get my snowman collection out. Since I wrote last, the auction business has grown tremendously. We had to move to a bigger location and are in the process of buying a building that is twice the size of what we have now. I never had a desire to be an auctioneer, but it has been such a blessing. We have met so many kind people who have became friends over the past year. We had four auctions last weekend. I even did a fire department fundraiser auction by myself. It was fun! I am looking forward to the weekend. I'm going to visit with a friend and enjoy a weekend off. I hope you all have a blessed week.

Back by Kmay request
I really have no idea where the last 6 months has gone. It seems like only a few days ago that I wrote on here. I am writing now because I had a request or maybe a demand from my friend, Kmay aka Kasie, to update my blog. Her wish is my command. haha
Since I last wrote, Makenzie turned 16 and got her drivers license. Makayla turned 13 and found out a couple of weeks ago that she has retorn her meniscus and will have surgery again this summer. The girls and I are winding down the school year and are ready for summer. The girls will be opening a snow cone stand in Paradise the first week of June. As for Monty, he is keeping the girls and I very busy with the auction business. In case anyone doesn't know, he opened his own company, Monty Fitzgerald Auctioneers, in October. The business is going well. In fact, so well that we are moving the business from Decatur to Paradise as we have already outgrown the building on 51. Not to mention that the new building has AIR CONDITIONING. I'm quite excited about that!
Kmay - this will have to do for now because the Rangers game is on!

Christmas

It's almost Christmas!
Hello. I am finally back for a quick update. Life is good. This is absolutely my favorite time of year. I love cold weather and Christmas. I am enjoying the break from work by spending endless hours by the firplace doing absolutely nothing. I love getting up early and plugging in the lights on the Christmas tree, watching the news, and drinking coffee. There is something so peaceful about being the only one in the house awake. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.

Long time - no post!
I had good intentions of blogging frequently this summer, but it never happened. I have no idea what I did all summer. Time just passed me by. School is back in full swing. The girls are in the 7th and 10th grade this year.
Monty's 2 year post surgery date was August 25th. He is doing well. He went to auctioneer school in June and is a licensed auctioneer. If you need an auctioneer, leave me a comment and I will hook you up. :)
Makenzie got her learner's permit this summer. She has been driving us home from school in the afternoons. I can't believe she is old enough to drive!
Makayla is participating in cross country this year. She had her first meet this past Saturday. She came in 36th out of 130 with a time of 15:13. She has always loved to run. After having surgery on both of her legs in an 8 month period last year, I wasn't sure she would be able to run. I am so thankful that she is able to do something that she enjoys.
I am enjoying the new school year. I am so ready for cooler weather and rain. I am thinking about busting out the fall decorations this weekend. I hope to get in some kind of blogging routine. Al and Lorene - I hope my lack of blogging hasn't cost me my 2 faithful readers. I can't forget my faithful creeper - you know who you are! Just kidding kmay!

Hello
Hello. Life has been crazy busy here. Everyone is going well. Makenzie had shingles in her eye again a few weeks ago. She had to stay a couple of days in the hospital. Other than that, everything is good. We are wrapping up another school year and softball season. We are ready for camping and sleeping in. I hope both of my faithdul readers are doing well!
