Team DeCoy is teaming up with the Mountain Aire Market in Cedar Hills this week to offer several fundraising events.
A benefit concert will be held Thursday, June 10 featuring musical artists Same Payne, Cherie Call, April Moriarty, Daniel Beck, Firefly and The Gibbons. The event is at the Alpine Art Center, 450 Alpine Hwy, Alpine. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a silent auction and the show will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Dear Lizzie Boutique, 10953 N. This Saturday, June 12, the Mountain Aire Market in Cedar Hills will host several fundraising events for TeamDeCoy starting with a 5K and 1 mile fun run at Cedar Ridge Elementary School, located at 4501 W. Cedar Hills Drive, in Cedar Hills. The fun run will begin at 9 a.m. Online registration is available at www.teamdecoy.com.
Other events that day include a silent auction, car wash and bake sale beginning at 10 a.m. in the Cedar Hills Heritage Park, 4450 W. Cedar Hills Drive. These events will coincide with the Mountain Aire Market.
TeamDeCoy Foundation was created to help raise funds for Crohn’s disease awareness and research. It is in honor of Desmon and McCoy Rowley of Cedar Hills, Utah who suffer from Crohn’s. Desmon is also battling leukemia at this time. Proceeds from these fundraising events will provide medical care for the Rowley children, assist in Crohn’s research and support the cancer center at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
