Sending Lots Of Love

Hi bloggers!  This is another really quick and easy card to make.  I started by cutting the Heart Background out of both white and black card.  I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the white die cut.  Next I covered a piece of black card with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled the backing paper off and proceeded to add small pinches of different coloured gilding flakes.  I used Wild Wisteria, Ocean Waves, Candy Pink, Vintage Chrome and Rose Gold Gilding Flakes.  I used a rubit scrubit pad to move the flakes all over the background and lightly refine and remove the excess flakes.  I glued the piece behind the background.  I cut a sentiment from the Love Wordie sheets and added it across the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5 3/4"  x  7 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Rose Corners

Hello there my crafty friends!  We have reached the final post of the launch, but even though it is the smallest set, it is so useful for so many things!  Introducing the Rose Corners die set.  There are two corners in this set and they are so useful for adding some pretty floral elements to your cards.  As shown here, you can see that they can be used for so much more than just corners too. One last time, I will ask you to add your comment on to the bottom of the post.  Don't forget to check back on April 10th as I will announce the winner of the blog launch then.  I hope you have enjoyed the launch as much as I have!  All for now, Sue x

Jayne

Hello bloggers!  Welcome to the penultimate post.  This post is dedicated to the other decorative shaped die, Jayne. This die set has six dies in it and it is a smaller die than Harper, but they can be layered up together very nicely if desired as shown here.  This die  looks amazing with any of the three cluster dies from yesterday as well.  If this set is calling your name, add a comment on this post for maximum entries.  The last post of the blog launch will be here at 6pm.  All for now, Sue x

Harper

Hello crafters!  The next die that I would like to showcase is Harper.  Keeping with the tradition of naming decorative shaped dies with girl's names, Harper is a beautiful die that works really well with any of the cluster dies shown yesterday.  This die set has six dies within it and they can be used to create different looks.  You can use all of the sections together as I have done here or just certain parts to create different looks.  It is a very versatile die set and one that I think you will reach for often in your crafting.  Don't forget to add a comment to the bottom of the post, but  there is still more to share.  The next post will be on the blog at 3pm today.  All for now, Sue x

Elegant Florals

Hello bloggers! Welcome to the second and final day of the die release launch.  First up we have the Elegant Florals die.  This is a single die with the flowers cut out  so it makes it very easy to do paper piecing projects with it.  This die also works beautifully with a stained glass technique for a real wow factor to your cards. It can be used vertically or horizontally and it looks amazing both ways.  If this set is speaking to you, then don't forget to leave a comment on this post so your name is entered into the drawing to win the entire collection.  The next die set on offer will be long at noon today, I hope you will be able to join me back here then!  All for now, Sue x

Easter Wishes

Hello crafters!  I have another slimline card to share with you today.  I started by cutting the Slimline Decorative Rectangle Aperture Trio in white.  I added mounting foam to the back of it then attached a piece of arctic blue card.  Using dies from the Easter Essentials die set, I cut the bunny out of blush card and added a couple of carrots.  I used Fluffy Stuff for his tail and heated it to puff it up then added them to the top box.  I also put the Easter part of the sentiment at the top cut in raspberry card.  In the middle box, I cut the chick out of custard card and inked the top of his head with spiced marmalade.  I cut the basket and filled it with eggs.  The second part of the sentiment, the word Wishes, was added to the square as well.  In the bottom box, I cut the other bunny out of blush card and added an easter egg for him to hold.  I cut several more eggs in various colours and added them around the bunny and a little bee in the top corner.  Using the Slimline Stitched Rectangle Frames, I cut a white frame and added it with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 4 3/4"  x  9"  in size.

Just to let everyone know that tomorrow morning I will be releasing my April die release and you are all invited to the launch.  It starts here at 6am.  Hope to see you then! All for now, Sue x

Will You Be My Valentine

Hi crafters!  I am sharing a pretty buckle card with you today.  I started by cutting a long strip of white card and embossing it with the Quilted Hearts embossing folder.  I needed it to be extended and this folder lines up easily to do so. Next I cut the Heart Wreath die three times out of red card and two times out of white card. I brought the white hearts up through the red cards as I wove the strip of white card through them.  I turned it over and taped everything in place from the back.  I added mounting foam to it and attached it to the embossed background.  I cut the sentiment from the Be My Valentine Wordie sheets and added it the bottom of the card.  I used several of the fall away hearts around the sentiment as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5 1/4"  x  11 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Happy Easter

Hello crafters!  I started with a piece of white card and used Picked Raspberry distress ink and used a smoothie to work the colour from the edge towards the centre of the card, leaving a lighter area for the egg. I then used the Elemental Swirl stamp and inked it with Black Archival ink and worked my way all the way around the card with the swirls.  Next I cut the Stained Glass Tulip Egg outer die from black gloss card.  I cut the inside egg part of the die in black card.  I coloured the egg with markers but used a soft white pencil in each section to give highlights.  I cut the Happy Easter sentiment in black and added it to a white shadow backing piece, then attached it below the egg.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8" x 8"  in size.  All for now. Sue x
