Third trimester

Don't judge me :)you know my posting history

- but overall 3rd trimester wasn't too bad! I still played volleyball at the church at 7 months, football in the yard as all time QB weeks before I was due walks with the dog as often as possible, and I was on my feet all the time working close to 30 hrs a week (+/-)
- I was really surprised how little my back hurt for how many issues I have with my lower back
-I wore my wedding ring all the way up to 2-3 weeks before baby came
-Feet didnt swell much (i heard if you wore tennis shoes or tight shoes it helped to keep them from expanding too much - and thats what i had to wear for work anyways so idk if its true but no one wants these large feet of mine to get any bigger! especially me!!)
-chopped my hair off a about a month before baby- i know most peole do this after.... but when am I most people? It needed to go!
-Stopped working on Oct 13th and had a fun lil i hop dinner after work and spent almost all of my days off cleaning one room a day at our house not only for nesting.. but just because it hadn’t been cleaned really well in who knows how long!!
-Had two amazing baby showers! One hosted at the Jambors house and put together by my best friends and sister( thanks brooke, michelle, whitney, and tiffany!) I got so many diapers and cute clothes and a really cool firetruck toy! The second shower was held at Mercys house and had so many people from my ward come and got plenty of cute clothes, bath time essentials, and an amazing pack n play! Everyone also gave some good baby advice when I opened their presents
- I bought few acctual maternity clothes but used my belly bands ALLL the time! (still do!) My mom has always told me i had a lot of clothes that could work as maternity shirts.
-Had fun going to an Ole Miss vs BYU game and a Whitewater High school game
-Had some fun with halloween parties of course! (just days before lil Troy came!)
-stretch marks started to show even with all my efforts to fight them off
-I could feel troy really moving! Pete loved falling asleep with his hand on my belly feeling lil troy swimmin around. He also would get hiccups all the time in my belly. Luckily I have quite a long torso and didnt feel like my lungs were collapsing or my ribs were going to break.
-Still ate the same as I always have.. not much changed or any crazy cravings still (pizza and breadsticks always smelled so yummy and once you smell it ya gotta have some!)
-but overall... just getting bigger and bigger! (still stayed in my goal of under Pete’s weight! no matter how hard he tried to feed me bacon and sausage almost every morning that sweet man of mine trying to fatten me up! he’s so great and would even help my large whale self get out of bed at times:)

2nd trimester

(sorry pictures are sideways)
Here’s a big thumbs up!
you can see his heart and stomach i belive in this one.. and he was SUPER SHY and it took us forever to get a good profile picture of this little guy! You can still tell he has his hand up by his face like he was all cuddled up and hiding from the camera. Its a BOY!!!

So the exciting news of the 2nd trimester is to find out the gender!!!! The Forsyth boys all get 1 daughter per family.. so i didn’t get my hopes up too high for a girl.. but I was so happy to hear that our lil BOY will be on the way!! Because the lil man was being so bashfull we took up our whole 30 min of camera time and finally got that middle picture. All the organs looked good- bones all good.. I just love how he was giving us the thumbs up that everything was ok in there. We were poking my belly and watching him wake up and move around- The coolest part was to see him stretch and you could see his spine curve back.

Pete has been able to feel the lil squirt roll around too! I want to say it was around 4 months when we had found out the gender too that when I’d lay on my side to go to bed at night if pete had his hand on my stomach he’d be able to feel him! This was a pretty consistant thing we’d do for a while too so he could get a little taste of what i’d started to feel. I do think this was pretty early compared to most people- which was special for pete I thought.

A few things I’ve learned that no one ever warned me about before I got pregnant
1) leg cramps are awful! - Stacy taught me don’t stretch in the morning with your toe out.. heel out works much better! And I also try and eat a banana before bed and plenty of water (without having to pee 20x in the night) And the cramps don’t just happen in your calf.. feet- hamstring are all possibilities

2) you get nose bleeds!? I had no idea! Brooke said it was from the increased amount of blood pumping and the nose arteries are the smallest and so therefore easier to get a bleed?! who knew! But I’m a lil paranoid now anytime I have a runny nose I feel like it could be a nose bleed.

Viva Mexico! 12 weeks

we loved our cruise to Mexico! It was just the two of us and we went out of Mobile. Pete was in love with these blankets and we just had to have one! This was on our stop to cozumel when we drove around the island on our scooter- we found this nice spot on thenon touristy side

we found the prettier beaches on the opposite side of the island away from the boat

our awesome scooter- how i agreed to thisbeing 12 weeks pregnant i don’t know- but it was an adventure!

I figured i’d never buy it so we might as well capture it on camera! :)

The beach our excursion took us to in Progresso Mexico was not so clear and pretty but the hotel we got to eat at was super nice and free drinks!

the top of the 7 dolls ruins

so cool how old these things are!

this was a beautiful pool made by asteroids or something thousands of years ago and it was so pretty!

formal night we found the piano bar

we had a great time with our waitors too this trip they were so fun and the last night he gave me a rose napkin- and the necklace is one i got in Cozumel.
The cruise was a great getaway for us and also to celebrate Pete’s birthday and our 4th yr anniversary! I had never been to Mexico so we got a lil taste of it (Even though on the cruise they don’t stamp your passport- so dissapointing) I felt great the whole time also! I was nervous being still in the end of my first trimester that I might get sick easier being on the boat- but I had no problems.. once again I do count my blessings! We got lots of rest and ate lots of yummy food! And as you can tell from the last picture as much sun as possible too! :) After the cruise at my dr’s apt. though she did say I didn’t gain any weight from before! Sorta crazy but I guess we did do a lot of walking around to equal out all the food I was eating!

Great News!

So we also found out I’m Pregnant!!!

Right before we left for Daytona I took a test and it said Positively Pregnant! I took it while pete was at work and so I decided to make some dessert that night and brought him some (since we don’t live that far away from his work anymore! so nice!) and share the great news! He came out and met me and zeus at our car and I had the test to show him with his dessert (But it was too dark to see it) And I told him it said Positive! I had a good feeling that I was pregnant and we’d been acctually trying for a few months so this was great news and the start of a new adventure! Baby Forsyth to be coming around Nov. 5th!

The first trimester for me was a blessing! I know so many people who are so sick and can’t do anything for the first of their pregnancy... I was one of those lucky ones who never got sick! I had heard if you get plenty of sleep and keep food in your stomach it helps.... Soo for my schedule I could do both of those things easily! I slept as much as I wanted and then I normally eat a lot of snacks and meals throughout the day anyways! I have still been able to stay active and go on a couple mile runs with the dog and occationally would lift, do yoga, etc.

And not only is it exciting for me to be pregnant... two of my sisters were pregnant at the same time! Brooke Due in August and Stacy due a week before me October 30th!

Typical...

I know I know- bout time! Time to update for 2011 till now!
We have really been enjoying living down here in Fayetteville and our new home! I’m still working as an assistant manager at Hibbett Sports and Pete still a firefighter in Henry county- but he is also helping our friend Jared Jambor sellingNight Rider Jewelry. A few pieces me and pete has:
The BradburytheCovenant
and I have:
The Fleur De Lis band
Pete swaps shifts so he can get about one week a month off to go help Jared sell jewlry all along the east coast. Zeus and I accompanied them to Daytona Bike week which I’ve avoided Daytona arond Spring Break time my whole life because of this event... and now I was purposefully going!

Zeus absolutely loves the beach- the fresh sand and the cool water just are so irresistable for a dog like him! You’d think he’d get too hott with all his fur, but it’s worth it!

Merry Christmas!

So surprise to me! We had a new family member delivered a few days before christmas!! Mike (petes brother) Flew this lil fluff ball down from Chicago for Pete and they walked in one morning carrying this lilbundle of joy! We decided to call him Zeus! He is a Samoyed which is sorta like a huskie but you don’t really see them down here in the south very often (which of course we love) But so far he has been quite a change for our lil family of 2! Good prep for one day having kids that’s for sure! He is 11.5 weeks old and about 15 lbs now (already growing so much for the few weeks we’ve had him!) He knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and roll over! Quite a lileinstein on our hands. The funnies thing we’ve taught him is to ring the bell when he wants to go outside. It is a little service bell and he’ll just look at you waiting to be served! He loves sitting out in the snow and this super cold weather we’ve had. He loves playing with other dogs- him and Jack(parents dog) got a long so well! Snickers(mike and mercy’s dog) is still a little rough when he plays- but Zeus is always asking for more. We have had muchbetter sleep the last few nights and he will bark and let us know when he needs to go potty about 7 or 7:30 every morning. We love him dearly and I was so surprised that we acctually got a puppy I was a lil speachless when he walked in!

New Residence!

so we bought a house!!!! We now reside in Fayetteville near Peachtree City. It is about 25 miles to pete’s work and I found a job down here in Griffin at Hibbett Sports as an assistant manager! We went in with Pete’s brother Mike and his family to get the property that neither of us could afford by ourselves.. but as a team we get this sweet lay out and have great neighbors! It is on Lake Horton and sits on 7.5 acres. There are two houses.. we obviously have the smaller one on the left in the first picture and Mike and Mercy and their 5 kids live in the one on the right. The two are connected by an air conditioned breezeway that also hooks to the garage. The basketball court cement was already there at the house just ready for us to play on (we added the goal) Our house has some work to be done like laundry hook ups and we are going to be adding a kitchen this year sometime. The closets are huge! And as of now since there are no children yet we get to have our own closets for the time being! We love our new ward and have started to feel more comfortable living down here about 1 hr 15 min away from my parents. (The tv is also now up on the wall, added 2 mini ottomans in the living room, and our curtains are on rings and makes our curtains longer. Some of the decorations have been put up also and we acctually have pictures on our walls)

Pete's family reunion this year was an all adult Carnival cruise to the Carribean.

alking around town

2nd Stop: Grand Cayman Islands- Snorkling and swimming at Sting Ray City

3rd stop- Ocho Rios Jamaica- Zip Line and ATV rides

We really loved our time with family and on the beautiful ship! We highly recommend the ATV and Zip line in Ocho rios.. it was all together a wonderful experience (called H'EVANS SENT i believe) We loved playing card games and going to the shows at night. The ice cream machine got worked the whole week. Mike won the free-throw competition on boat. We had perfect weather the whole week. We had plenty of relaxing time out in the sun. And the food was superb! We really would love to go on another soon!
