We are a Honduran-based, Christian healthcare organization whose mission is to transform the communities we serve through physical, spiritual, social, and economic wellness.
Since 1986, Predisan has served our neighbors in the central region of the Olancho department of Honduras. Based in the city of Catacamas, Predisan has grown to also serve the city’s surrounding area, with facilities in the Cuyamel mountains.
With mountain ranges in the west, and dense jungles in the east, the people of Olancho often find themselves cut off from basic needs, services, and economic opportunity. The region has become a route for illegal drug traffic, which drives additional instability and insecurity for the population.
These conditions create a vast gap in healthcare, education, and economic opportunity that Predisan seeks to fill.
We want communities to thrive: physically, spiritually, socially, and economically. We believe a holistic approach is required to bring flourishing and God’s wholeness to our neighbors.
We provide access to a wide range of healthcare services at the Predisan Christian Hospital, as well as residential substance abuse treatment through the Center for Rehabilitation of Patients with Addictions (CEREPA).
We provide spiritual support and guidance to our patients and staff, as well as communities and their leaders.
We seek to empower communities through collaborative education, training, and community wellness projects that impact their physical, spiritual, social, and economic health.
