So, I don't have quite as much time to devote to my blog as I used to. Two kids keep me pretty busy! Jack takes 3 naps a day, but they are getting shorter... I think he may be transitioning into two longer ones. He is the most precious little thing... such a happy baby... smiles and laughs all of the time. He loves to play in his saucer and Johnny Jump-up (he goes crazy jumping and squealing). He is still breastfed exclusively, but we have given him a few bites of rice cereal, banana, sweet potato and avocado. The cereal made him gag... but he loved everything else. He is a chunk-o! Every where we go people look at him and chuckle over all of his rolls. He is rolling over and sitting up, but hasn't shown any interest in crawling yet. Of course I have to admit, I carry him around a lot. I'm trying to soak up every minute of the baby-ness while I can. He has totally found his voice and babbles most of the day. When he wakes up from his nap he calls me... "Mamamama"! He also says "Dada" a lot (which makes Ryan SO happy).
Allie is almost done with 3rd grade, and will be 9 in July. Man, time flies. She is taking dance and will have her recital in a couple of weeks (pics to post). She has stayed on the honor roll and continues to excel in reading and writing. We are so proud of that little lady. She adores her baby brother. She looks at him and says, "Sissa. Sissa. Sissa... Can you say Sissa?!". Jack loves to watch her sing and dance, and act silly. She can totally crack him up.
We are loving life and feeling completely blessed. God has been better to us than we deserve, and we are so thankful!
