Beware! In any industry there are companies that promise the moon and deliver a book that is only good to line the bottom of your birdcage. (Sorry I know that is harsh, but it is also true!) I see companies all the time with glorious copy on the website about the services they will provide you and yet I am painfully aware that their products are a terrible mark on the author who trusted them.

Today, we celebrate the victory of Jesus over sin and death. The moment that changed everything. The cross was not the end, and the grave was not the final word.
Because He lives, we have hope that is unshakable. Hope that meets us in every season and reminds us that redemption is always possible.

May today be a reminder that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is still at work today.

The day between.
After the cross and before the resurrection, there was silence. Uncertainty. Waiting.
Holy Saturday reminds us that God is still at work, even when we cannot see it. Even when prayers feel unanswered or hope feels buried.
For the disciples, it may have felt like the end. But what looked like defeat was not the final word.
“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Psalm 27:14, ESV
If you find yourself in a waiting season, take heart. God is not absent in the silence. He is working and present with you.

Today, we remember the cross.
Good Friday invites us to slow down and sit in the weight of what Jesus has done. The sacrifice. The suffering. The love that chose the cross so that we could be redeemed.
This is not just a story we revisit once a year. It is the foundation of our hope. Every debt paid. Every sin carried. Every barrier between us and God removed through Jesus’ sacrifice.
“But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities… and with His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5, ESV
Today, we remember.
We give thanks and stand in awe of the love that held Jesus there.
