Card with a picture (4) + Tilda

In this card I wanted to make a snow-like sparkling effect. I lightly painted the card with decorating paste and covered it with glitter. I experimented and although I did not expect this kind of effect, I like it. I added Magnolia's Jingle Bell Tilda coloured with Promarkers, a red bow and poinsettia.

Reindeer

Tina and Vladka started a new challenge called "Ko me inspirira #20", meaning "When it inspires me". The rule is very simple - to be inspired by another Slovenian crafter.

My card was inspired by Maja, who embossed transparent paper and by Tina, who made a card with a hole at the front - I have never tried any of these techniques. I combined both inspirations and in my card covered the hole with embossed transparent paper.

I found the digi image of the reindeer on the Honking Donkey webpage and coloured it with Promarkers.

Minimalistic Christmas tree

This one is just the opposite of my previous post. I got the idea for this card on Pinterest. I really liked it and decided to give it a try and create something different than usual. I made two versions, in red and green colour and I think I may try other (non-Christmas) colours as well.
If you are curious about the typical colours of Christmas and what do they represent you can read it here.

Mistletoe

I made this card after seeing Tina's tutorial. I would probably never try something like that and I learned that I can make a very simple and beautiful card without complicating too much.

Star

Another star-shaped card, which is quite small compared to a regular-sized card, but there is still enough space inside to write good wishes.

Christmas ornament

It is already December and very soon we will start decorating our homes… I already decorated this card where I used a stamped image of a Christmas ornament (I really like these stamps with seams which I borrowed from Natali; you can see them in my other posts as well).

Snowman

Two days ago the first snow in this season covered our village in white. Unfortunately there was just little of it and it melted very soon, so the kids couldn’t enjoy making a snowman. However I made my own snowman in this card.

The most beautiful couple and Christmas wreaths

Our crafting colleague Tina designed her own line of stamps and stencils under the name Najepši Par "The most beautiful couple" (also in Spanish – La Pareja Creativa). I liked her collection from the moment I saw it and two days ago I couldn’t help myself to order my own set of stamps and stencils.
I had so much fun playing with it!

Here you can see my outputs from yesterday…

Snowflake 1

December is approaching fast and soon it will be time to send Christmas / New Year cards.

This is one in the first series I made this season. I decided to make some cards in different shapes, not only square and rectangular, so I made the card bases using nestability dies.

I stick the sparkles at the edges using Decorating Paste.

Desk calendar stand (including tutorial)

I know we are at the beginning of November, but time flies so fast that New Year will be here in a bit. An idea of a desk calendar came into my mind and I would like to share it with you.

I cut a strip of cardboard (6 x 34 cm).

I marked where to fold it.

I fold it using a ruler and burnisher.

You can see the exact sizes here:

At the end it should look like that:

I glued the front part (the 1 cm one) and stick it to the longer (13 cm) part. You can help yourself with little clothespins.

Before gluing the last part, I embellished the upper front part.

Then I glued the last (0,5 cm) part.

At the end I added the calendar, which I bought at the local stationer's shop.
