Robert Laughing

This is from a two weeks ago but for my family out of town, they need to see what a cute, happy, smiley baby Robert is. What a sweetie! I was playing peek-a-boo above and below his activity mat and he thought it was hilarious.

"Robert is really soft" video

I find this video very funny. I hope you do too. I think it will only get funnier as they get older.

Do you get it?

A few people didn't (my mom for instance - hehe). So in case you don't, I am pregnant! We are expecting #3 Sept. 18th. I think s/he will come a few days early though like the other two. We are hoping to find out if we are having a boy or girl as early as the first week in April! Yes, just a week away. As such, if you want to weigh in and make a prediction if its a boy or girl and which sex will have the "tie-breaker" in our family, do so asap. I am not tech savvy enough to actually post something official so just leave your guess in the comments if you want. UPDATE: I was wrong. I can't find out the sex for another 2.5 weeks - agony! But now you have plenty of time to make your prediction.

JJ is at it again

Last year my mother-in-law gave us a plastic snow globe, which, the kids LOVE. I think that's in part because they are actually allowed to play with it and real snow globes are off limits. With JJ it is a very good thing real snow globes are off limits. Just watch this:

of mice and men often go awry. For us, today was no exception. We were going to go to the neighborhood pool and not only that, but today, we were going to walk there. So after lunch we head off wearing our swimsuits and cover ups for our long walk to the pool and within 10 minutes, it starts to sprinkle. And then it starts to pour. Did I say pour? Deluge is more like it. So much so that more than one random stranger offered to give us a ride home. We took shelter in another stranger's carport to wait out the worst of it. There we calmed and reassured JJ, who was pretty upset at being completely wet because of rain. By then though, we were already soaking so we just opted to walk back home in the rain. Once JJ realized he could splash in the puddles, his attitude about the whole thing changed dramatically. All and all, it was really quite fun just not exactly what we had planned.
