Team Schoenbeck

We enjoyed the day off from school with at trip to the Oregon Trail Nature Park. We had a blast, the kids loved filling their bags with many different items they found along the trail. I didn't know you could actually really hike in Kansas but we sure did today. I got my workout in for the day especially with an extra 35 pounds on my back for half of it.

Bennett had his first football game yesterday and I must say I REALLY enjoyed it. So much fun to watch him do something he loves so much. He thought it was fun to be the Quarterback but really liked blocking too. It will interesting to see what position he ends up in some day. I am just hoping he doesn't grow too fast and then doesn't have much of a choice where he plays.

Our baby girl celebrated her 3rd Birthday yesterday. I can hardly believe she is already 3. She had a wonderful day. She started the day by opening gifts with mom, dad, brother, and sister. Then finished it off at the park with friends and family.

Bennett was so excited that he finally got to start school Monday. I say finally because Emma started last week. He really liked his teacher and told me at the end of the first day that 1st grade was really easy. I am glad he is so confident about the year. He was also excited to start the year missing his front tooth. He pulled it himself last week!

Is it really possible that she is in 4th grade. It seems like maybe last week we were bringing her home from the hospital. She had a WONDERFUL day and is looking forward to a great year. I will have more 1st day of school pics Monday ast Bennett starts then. His school is under construction and wasn't quite ready. He was a little bummed when we dropped Emma off yesterday. He wanted to at least drive by his school.

We were even able to keep tabs on the Missouri game. I just wish it could have had a different outcome.
