Stanley, Idaho trip

Adrian and I went to Stanley, Idaho for July 5-8 and it was a nice getaway and very affordable. Camping is $11.00 in the area. You could find a hotel for $85 per night. You can rent a canoe or kayak for about $10. A mountain bike would be $25 for the whole day. You can fish, relax, swim in the lake. You could take an easy or difficult white water rafting trip for about $80. There's rock climbing - the literature mentioned that different projects are available. Oh, and there's a mining ghost town named "Custer" about 15 miles away with a really old cemetery in "Bonanza" on the way to Custer. There are some hot springs, too, that are free.

There is also a branch there if you want to go for the weekend and they have two church meetings on Sunday - in the morning and in the evening for those who have to miss one or the other. They have a lot of visitors in the summer. They meet in a log cabin looking chapel.

The drive is about 6 hours. Gas is expensive in Stanley, so fill up before you get into that area.

launch the blog

Hello to all the people I love the most. Well, obviously, I am not going to give my URL to people I don't like, right. So, ok, cool, like this is my very first blog ever. Thanks to Lauren (the awesomest mommy of Korbin) for showing me how to do this. So, chill. Hook me up with your blog, too, for reals.
