Hey, bathroom is officially almost done, but I am so excited I had to post pics sooner. Rick did such a great job. (I did manage to help quite a bit.) It is nice to finally have it how we want it.

Hooray for Kindergarden
Kindergarden came to and end for Trevor today. Aside from the pool party tomorrow, he is officially finished. He had a great year and a fantastic teacher (who he is very sad about not having for first grade next year.)
Graduation was a lot of fun. Trevor recited part of the Declaration of Independence to all of the parents, teachers and students. He did a great job (yes, I have a video...coming soon). All of the kids got their diplomas.
His teacher asked all the kids what they all promised to do:
Ms. Gagich (T's teacher): "What did you all promise me you would graduate from?"
Kids: "Kindergarden!!!"
Ms. Gagich: "No, you already did that, what else?"
Kids: "First Grade!!!!"
Ms. Gagich: "No, come on kids..to graduate from Col..."
Kids: "COLLEGE!!!"
I am holding Trevor to it.
We were then treated to a slide show with pictures of the kids during the entire school year. All of the kids were dancing during the entire show, it was exceptionally cute.

Art Show!
Annika and Trevor's school had an art showcase. A few kids from each grade had their art framed and put on display for the other students, faculty and parents. Annika had one of her works as part of the display. (Trevor decided he was not creative and that is why his wasnt, but I thought his art was fantastic).

Trevor and his pieces.
My favorite of Trevor's Art pieces. - watercolor flowers
Annika's pieces from the school year.
My Favorite of Annika's art pieces - Green Shading.
Annika talking about her art and how she created it.
Annika's framed work of her showcase piece.
It is a Southwest Sand Art and it absolutely beautiful.

Gingerbread House!
The box made it look sooo easy. Here is what the box should say:
1. Icing is not glue.
2. There will not be enough candy decorations when you start decorating.
3. The decorations will mostly likely be eaten by children under 5.
4. There will not be enough icing to decorate.
5. The icing will most likely be eaten by children who are 9 and older.
6. The project may not last due to the desire by the builds to eat the house....
7. The perfectly square pieces are actually not perfectly square.
8. The roof will try to slide off of the house once you have decided the icing has dried sufficiently.
8. Powedered sugar used to make snow creates a blizzard in Gingerbread Land.
Well, they did have fun.

En Garde
Annika has been taking fencing for the last 7 weeks. She LOVES it. Apparently the teachers feel she is very good and are very excited that she is interested in taking lessons outside of the program at her school. No, they aren't just trying to get money out of us.
They spoke to Rick and only one other person about seriously going to their fencing school. She has been getting nothing but praise about her natural ability.
Annika also won the gold medal for the class!! She is most excited. Luckily, they are doing another session at school starting in January so she can decide after that if she wants to pursue the sport. I thought she was fantastic, but then again, I am a bit biased.
