Happy 7th Birthday Drew!

Drew had an adventurous and memorable birthday this year. Three days before his birthday he was practicing "cool" tricks while jumping off his bed. Unfortunately, after one of his performances...he landed sideways on his foot and let our a huge wail! Being the sport that he is...he really did not complain much about the pain. However, after hopping around the house for a few days...we decided we better get it checked out. Sure enough he had two breaks in his foot and needed a cast. We were all bummed for the next day, his birthday, we were leaving for a long awaited week long trip to Disney World.
Here he is opening lots of cool gift the day before Disney.

Drew's cast actually ended up being a blessing in disguise. When we got to Disney he qualified as a "handicapped person." So, we got to jump to the front of the line for most of the rides! Yes, that part was wonderful!

Annascott celebrates with family!

Lots of fun opening "Dora presents"!
The flipping puppy from her cousins was a big hit!

Of course the party would not be complete without a Dora cake!

Happy 3rd Birthday Annascott!
We love you!

Happy 3rd Birthday Annascott!

When it comes to birthdays...our family has some special traditions. Some have been passed down from the Emmrich generation. :) One is that the kitchen gets decorated with streamers and balloons the night before someones birthday. Also before that child can come downstairs to see the kitchen decorated and their presents...they have to break through the "birthday streamer!" So, here is Annascott doing just that!

This year it was a Dora birthday. All the kids colored her Dora coloring page and made her a story book.

This was the cupcake she picked out to eat with her Daddy.
It was huge! Check out all that frosting!

Snow

We sure did get spoiled with some fun snow this January.
AND IT TASTED GREAT!

We also enjoyed some time with our special friends in the neighborhood.
Here is Drew with his best buddy Benjamin.

Why is it so hard to get a "normal" smile?

Christmas at the Andersons

This year we spent Christmas day with the Anderson side of the family.

Here is Annascott checking out her new sleeping bag. I guess she will now officially join the crew for the overnight camping trips. Now, I have not excuse to "stay behind." :(

The boys with their new Lego reading lights!

Now, for the biggest surprise ever!
Grammy and Grampy surprised the kids with the Wii!
How excited they were when they opened this package!
The whole Anderson clan with our "Anderson's Custard" attire!
The newest addition to the family this year was little Logan!

What an exciting day!
Thank you Lord for family and good health and special times like these to share together.

Christmas 2010

Christmas Morning!
What an exciting day!
Aren't we all are "looking our very best" in our pjs with nice bed heads. :)
Why is it that these pictures never turn out the best? Oh well, I still have to post them so we remember what precious moments we spent together!

Here is Adah with her new cricut cutting machine!
Arts and crafts are her specialties! The Lord has really blessed her with the gift of creativity.
Next up! Drew with his new rip stick. I think he must have asked for this everyday for 6 months!

The boys with their new Lego toys!

Finally, Annascott opening her stocking goodies!
Lots of things were Dora this year!

After the present opening we headed to the kitchen for our traditional Christmas morning breakfast. Swedish pancakes with yummy raspberry sauce. Boy were they delicious. While we ate we lit the final candle on the advent wreath and listened to the Christmas story.
Happy Birthday Jesus!
