Rylie had her very first school performance. It was so fun! She practiced and practiced her songs and we are very proud of her.

Rylie is full of Spunk...she just had to wear her church shoes!

Rylie with her roses from Grandma...why? Cause Grandma is the best!

Also..notice that my pictures are more clear?? That is because I have the best husband in the world that I totally adore. And Not just because he surprised me with a new camera. I am a little afraid of the thing but that is just a minor detail. I totally cried when Jason and the kids surprised me with it!! Kenzie said, "Mom you are uposed to be happy".

Putting up the tree

Putting up the Christmas Tree. One of my kids favorite things to do. We got a new tree this year because our old tree had seen 10, yes 10 Christmas mornings.(that really makes me feel old) Last year I just could not let it go, I mean it was practically part of the family. It was involved in so many memories. So I had to have Jason RIG it just so that it would stay standing. If fell once. Not because of Jason, it was really that bad! It really was a miracle it made it through the season. One of my favorite memories of that tree was many years ago. Actually Brenden was about 3. I decided we would bake all the gingerbread girls and boys for the tree. My house smelled so yummy. They were our only ordainment's that year. It was the worst my tree ever looked. BECAUSE Brenden had eaten all the arms and legs off the gingerbread people. And yes this was the same year that I almost killed him for locking me outside of the house! He was teasing me through the glass...like nanny nanny boo boo. Seriously, it is the most mad I have ever been, ever!

Thanksgiving

We love to go to Prescott for thanksgiving. Jason's uncle lives there and the kids love to go. He has horses, quads and dogs. All the things a kid wants and dreams about. We had a great time and enjoyed all the family. The lighting in the picture stinks but it is the best we have.

Halloween

Here are some pics from Halloween. Brenden was a wolf again, Hailey was a NeRd, Rylie was superwoman, and Kenzie was a ladybug AGAIN and Taylor was a chicken(one of my favorite old costumes). Taylor is my niece. We tried to get Kenzie to be something else because this is the 3rd year in a row she has worn this costume. It was so small on her she couldn't wear the bottoms and she had to wear black leggings instead. She must really love it! I guess that is all that matters.

Jason and I being NeRds.

Such a NeRd

Hailey being a total GOOF... this inspired her to be a nerd for Halloween.

Magic Mountain

Jason and I have wanted to take Brenden and Hailey on a trip alone for quite sometime. We thought it would be fun for them to get some quality alone time with us. We were fortunate to be able to plan a trip to take them to magic mountain. They knew we had a day of fun planned but had no idea what we had planned. Jason blindfolded them and when we got to the airport we took it off. They were super excited. However, Hailey instantly turned white when we told her that we were flying over there. She did not want to go. Once we were in the air she was fine. Brenden thought it was the best thing ever, he has wanted to fly for a long time (of course he has flown before but it was when he was airvaced from one hospital to the next. This was when he broke his arm and needed surgery since he was completely drugged up and strapped down he doesn't think that it counts as an official flight).
On the plane

We went to breakfast after we landed and the kids were being a little goofey. All the excitement?

Friday after breakfast we went to the Santa Monica Pier. The kids loved this bird that a man had. They were awesome!

Brenden jumped off the stairs to the pier and sprained his ankle. It was not too bad and he walked it off. It swelled a little and was bruised but he was not going to let it ruin his day.

When we got there is was really foggy. So you can't really see much of the ocean but the kids did not mind.

After a super yummy dinner....

Here are a couple of pictures from magic mountain. At first Hailey was terrified to ride the rides. This was not something that we expected. After riding a few of the smaller rides she was fine. It was a long day. But totally worth it!

They were a little tuckered out....Sunday we had breakfast and then headed home.

A huge thanks to Patti, Nan and Ray for all your help with Kenzie and Rylie. They had a blast with you and never even knew they were missing out because they were so very spoiled!!

The Jo Bro's

Still catching up....
My mother in law was kind enough to get Hailey and Rylie Jonas Brothers tickets. She could not come down and take them so I got to go. The girls had a blast. It was so cute to see how excited Rylie was to see them in person. Even Hailey would just watch Rylie and giggle. I think it will be a night that they never forget. I know that my ear drums are barely recovering from all the screaming girls.
