Paperwhimsy.com has New Romantic images that are lovely to work with. These collages are approximately 8″ x 10″. The base is my handmade silk paper. Other materials used are beads, sequins, metallic mesh, ribbons, mica, silk, metallic lace, vintage crocheted lace, and dried flowers.

I SEE into the night
7″ x 9″ handmade felt, collaged fabric and beads.
I SEE: Four Eyes
It’s fun for me to say I used 2775 size 11/0 delica beads for the four eyes. There are approximately 17-22 Delica beads per linear inch. Sculpture is 8″ tall by 4″ wide.
I See: four eyes
I See times three
5.5″ x 8″ Handmade felt, beads, fabric, thread. The eyes which are 1.3/4″ x 3.5″ are size 11 Delica beads.

I’ve been experiencing difficulty with my vision for years. I am now working on a series called “I SEE” to prove to myself that “I See”. I’m focusing on artwork with images of eyes. Pun Intended.
The small bead pieces will be incorporated into mixed media sculpture.
