KOKingHaptics will never disappear but they'll displace haptic-less touch, which has already started.
BeauAbsolutely do not like the haptics. I assume that it is indeed cheaper, but it forces the user to take their eyes off the road, and when the the software inevitably crashes, you are left without a means of feature operation when the unit resets. I've had a vehicle where that hapened often and it was incredibly frustrating.
