Just Plain Cute

Sometimes I just have to say these boys are just plain cute. Here are a few cute moments.
First of all who doesn't love a bundled up baby?

We went to one of our favorite restaurants (H & H City Pizza) and they shopping center was having a car show, Santa, & Face painting. It was so fun!
The boys wanted black dragons on their faces for some reason.

Ryan loves these antlers. He's wearing them all the time lately. He also loves his Super Grover.
I love when I look back in the car and see Jameson doing something like this.
He's is just such a cool dude.

Pitch Your Tent Toward the Temple

We have the greatest Primary Leaders in our ward. They set up the most amazing Primary activity for the kids in our ward today (even though it was the coldest morning yet). They got special permission from the school across the street from the new Gilbert Temple which opens in March to do an activity on their lawn. They set up a bunch of canopies (tents) facing the temple & had leaders and kids come dressed like they were living in the time of the Book of Mormon. Then they had all the kids sit in the tent's and listen to the Bishop who talked about when King Benjamin's people pitched their tents toward the temple to hear what the Lord wanted him to tell them & talked about how if we always keep our eyes on the temple we won't ever be led astray. It was such an awesome activity.

Even better, Later that same afternoon Klint & I were able to go inside the Gilbert Temple to help assemble the amazing chandeliers in some of the sealing rooms. It was a once in a lifetime experience. We are so grateful to they Malloy's in our ward (he's been the construction super for the exterior of the Gilbert temple) who invited us to be part of this special experiences. I can't wait for the temple to be open & to be able to take the boys through. I think it will really help them to keep their "tents toward the temple" as they remember how special it is to be inside the temple. I can't WAIT!

Alex Lost Another Tooth!

Alex lost his 2nd tooth today! At this rate the Tooth Fairy is going to be broke in no time. Good thing these boys are cute, but they really need to stop growing up!

Dear Santa

The boys are getting ready for Christmas. Jameson hasn't decided on writing his letter yet, but Alex (age 5) wrote his letter to Santa & it was adorable. Here it is.
Translation: Dear Santa. I want a pair of motor shoes. I hope you have a great happy Christmas. Love Alex (drawing of Santa coming to our house at the bottom)

Christmas Decorating

The Sunday after Thanksgiving we had our usual decorating the tree party. We invited Grammy & Papa to come since they will be living with us for Christmas so this will be their Christmas tree too. It was so fun. They boys had a great time & were very good decorators with the help of Grammy & Papa.
Ryan helped hand out the ornaments.......
Sort of.
He kept picking up the red balls and saying "apple" and pretending to eat them. This kid cracks me up.
Silly Jameson

Sweet Alex
Ryan put a few ornaments on the tree too, but he really just liked the lights.
Last, but not least, Papa put the star on the top for us.
It's so fun to have them here for these moments after missing them these past few years.

Thanksgiving

We started off our Thanksgiving weekend by popping in to have Thanksgiving Feast with the Alex & the kindergartners. They all have lunch in the hallway dressed in shirts they had made. It's so fun to see my kids at school with their friends so I take any chance I get to stop in. Ryan enjoys it too.

We had Thanksgiving at my parent's house as our last big bash before my parents move out. Somehow among the fun/chaos the only pictures I got were of Ryan & Carter eating their Thanksgiving meal together.
 Such cute cousins
The day after Thanksgiving the whole family decided to go see a new movie, Frozen, which was awesome. While we were there we saw a Lego Movie advertisement & the kids had fun taking pictures with it.

Pretty safe to say we are all pretty excited for the Lego Movie to come out.

Alex Looses His 1st Tooth

I can hardly believe we are here. Alex lost his first tooth tonight. At first he was so excited that he was finally gonna loose a tooth. Here is the before.
Then there was a little moment right before Daddy pulled it out that he suddenly got nervous. He stopped for just a minute and said "Mom, will it hurt?" I assured him that it wouldn't.
What really did the trick was when big brother put his arm around him & told him it was going to be fine & he would hug him the whole time.
And just like that it was done with not a single tear.
Here is the after. I can't believe how grown up this sweet boy of mine is these days. Time is going by way too fast.
