Back in 2010, we had a dream of creating a bit of magic.

Sometimes magic is hard to find especially when there is constant turmoil, and there was. The year prior our 21-month-old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. This consumed us. Anyone who has a child with a disability, illness, or an autoimmune disease knows how this changes a family. Ultimately, our daughter became our priority, and we lost our jobs. Financial strain was no stranger and all that came with it. It’s the most devastating news that sometimes makes us the most human – or becomes that push that makes us take a leap. You see, one can lose themselves in all that goes wrong or use those hard moments as lessons and fuel to keep going.
