Well...now we're comitted!

After much thinking, discussion, and heartache...it is official, we are going to be moving to Southeast Idaho where Ty has accepted a job in the ER. He is super excited and I am super excited to be working less very shortly! We are so excited! We are going to be renting a home there...just until we figure out whether we want to build or buy. The boys are thrilled! The new place has a HUGE backyard (like 2 acres), a BIG barn, and a fire pit....not sure how that last one is going to work out. Sometimes they like to take charge and do things with not have a whole lot of supervision...Big T and Little P that is. We just got T all registered up to school and P is pumped to be crashing a preschool this year...watch out here he comes! As for Baby G...he is still cute as a button! He rolls over and under and loves his highchair...that is until you make him eat in his highchair! Hates rice cereal, hates carrots, hates food...I am going to have to home school this one if he doesn't start to widen his food horizons! YIKES! Ty had a birthday this week. I took him out on a hot date...Thai food and Lava Hot Springs. It worked out perfect...it snowed in APRIL! Besides celebrating his birthday Ty has kept busy organizing orders from Cabelas...yep Cabelas...and packing for the big haul south. As for me...I am still working...nights...full time...and anxiously awaiting cutting back! I can't wait for this summer...to LOVE the weather, play with my boys, and sleep at night!!! Shhhh...better get back to work!

Wishing for Springtime!

Big T had a birthday this month...the BIG 6!!! He had some friends over for the ultimate pirate adventure. We made pirate hats, learned to walk and talk like pirates from a clip off of Hook, walked the plank, pinned the patch on the pirate, and sought the ultimate pirate treasure. T has so many great friends! Baby G...could you be any cuter?!?!?!? Love u~! Baby G is sure getting big! He can sit okay if he balances on the ole' tummy roll. He rolls once he gets over the hump...his tummy. He eats...mush that is...to get that tummy bigger so he can sit and roll better. See why he is so busy?!?!? So much to do and so little time...

Isn't that the cutest thing? It is so cute...yet sad at the same time...the first time in his highchair they look so small and before you know it they are climbing out and flinging themselves over the back to be the centerpiece on the dinner table. Man...I LOVE BOYS!!!

Big T and Little P sure are fond of their little guy! Whenever Baby G cries...big bros are there to sing to him. Songs of choice...Follow the Prophet and Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday......on and on and on and on...and on. Wouldn't change it for the world!!

Sorry...can't get enough of those soft round cheekers, big blue eyes, and cute little smiles!!!

I tell you...even though my little peeps are as boy as they come...adventurous, a little on the farty and burpy side, and a lot on the crazy side I couldn't live without 'em! Ty and I marvel everyday at the miracles Heavenly Father has given us.

As if Ty and I had not yet jumped on the adventure wagon with our boys between Vegas, Idaho, ISU, Touro, studying, working, playing, parenting, and doing pretty much everything...except sleeping that is...we are off on new frontiers. Since Ty graduated we have been looking for the perfect job for him. We are grateful for the luxury to be picky since I have been working, but we started wondering if we were being a little too picky. Well, now...we are in another little predicament, options. Everybody keeps telling me options are good. My thought...they are only good if you can make a decision....I can't! I am always telling Ty I suck at making decisions...at work it takes us hours to just decide where to order food from. I think he thinks I am kidding...I am not, sad but true! So when it comes to choosing a job, place to live and raise the fam, and you know...what to do with our lives, it is proving to be even more difficult. We have officially received 2, well 3 job offers. The first was easy to turn down, the other 2 are both Ty's dream job in the emergency room, just in 2 different places. So the discussions, meditations, calculations, pondering, praying, and problem-solving has come from the closet and taken over our lives. Well...better get back to it! We'll let you know...that is...when we figure it out! Love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Insight & Update!

The piano is done. It was a ton of work but we love it. Hours of stripping, sanding, staining, and sealing were worth it. The bench was also a refurb job. Ty and I have enjoyed getting a little crafty and spending time together.

Little P after a long day of sledding...look at those hot pink cheekers!

Lately we have become frequenters of the ISU basketball games. We have so much fun! Thanks to Grandpa Jerry who got season tix right on the floor under the basket!

Baby G...isn't he so big?!?!? Cute as a button though!!!

So...last week I stumbled from a friend's blog onto an article from a woman who is addicted to the seemingly perfect lives lead by "mormon bloggers" as she calls them. I found it so interesting that I thought about it off and on for several days. Fact is...I am in total aggreeance with my good friend Erin...it is crazy to think about how NOT perfect I am too. I have to say, it is on the good days that I choose to blog. The bad days when the kids I love so much make me want to pull my hair out, the days when I am hosting my own pity party in regards to still working full-time ...and nights, and the days when I could kick my hubs for stacking all our belongings on top of every cupboard in my house...are simply put...the days I choose NOT to blog. With this said...I count my blessings everyday! Those same things that drive me crazy are the things I love the very most. I am grateful for my boys who enrich my life with adventure, laughter, and love. I am grateful for my hubs for pretty much everything...including my eventual, hopefully soon...retirement. I am thankful for a Savior that gives us happiness and hope. Well...just a little insight I gained from an insightful article.
As for life as a Hep...
T is growing and learning new things everyday. He loves kindergarten and his teacher...Miss Hall as he calls her (even though she got married and is Mrs. Wood, guess he just can't give her up). He is spelling words now and learning to read. He loves games, playing with P (even though sometimes he would beg to differ), and holding baby G. He is an obstinant little stink sometimes but who knows... maybe later it will evolve to motivation and steadfastness. We just can't get enough of him!
P is adorable! He is smart just like big bro T. He knows how to count to 13 and say all of the ABC's. He loves to sing and has fallen head over hills for...Follow the Prophet. He can really belt it out...Adam is his FAVORITE! P can be caught smiling from ear to ear about 99% of the time and laughs so hard he can't breathe. It takes all Ty and I have to tame the beast in him and keep him alive and out of trouble. He cracks us up!
Baby G! We all just want to hug him all day. The boys love to hold him and Ty and I would cuddle with the little bug all day if we could. Ty says I spoil the little dude...I have decided I am totally ok with it. He is growing like crazy...14 1/2 pounds last time we checked. He smiles, sleeps, eats his hands, and could run a 2 minute mile when he gets those legs going. He has been so much fun...and we LOVE him!
Ty and I are keeping busy. Ty is manning the boys a lot of the time while I am at work. He has quite a few job potentials now and we are looking at a few here in Idaho and one in Utah. It is still hard for me to think that he is graduated now, getting into a career, and paving my road to retirement! As for me...I feel more like a walking zombie everyday. How people work nights for 40 years I will never know...I understand why they say it shortens their life span. Guess I wouldn't change it though...I love my job and my awesome friends I work with. I think I would just like to not have to work so often. Soon though! YEAH!

Ty's Graduation...and now we PLAY!

Look at that smart guy!!!

Road Trip to Vegas for Ty's Graduation! I'm a slacker...just now posting graduation pics!

Between Ty graduating and my maternity leave...we have some time on our hands for some FUN! Tonight...forts, popcorn, and movies!

Bath-time for Baby G! 2 month appointment...12 poounds 6 ounces...and shots! He deserves to soak!

This week we headed south to Park City to Gorgoza Park...an extreme sledding hill. Baby G stayed with Aunt Julie in Kaysville and the bigger boys and I went to risk it all on the sledding slopes. We had so much fun! Up the conveyer belt...up the rope tow...and down a mountain-full of danger! We loved it!

BEFORE...
AFTER!
With our extra time Ty and I have been working on some projects at home. First, the ottoman, we fixed the frame and gave it a face-lift...

We have also been refinishing an old, upright piano. First stripping...stripping...stripping...and stripping! Then stain. Next a couple layers of shellac, then hopefully we'll be done. We have recovered the bench, then after we paint it...it will be done! YEAH!

While the last few years have seemed like a tail-spin, it has definitly been one we will never forget! It seems like not that long ago I was 17 and waiting for my studly boyfriend to pick me up in his Jeep and take me water skiing. Then it was mission for Ty, college for me. After that...5 weeks to be exact we were married, less than a year-and-a-half later we had Big T, and built our first house. Next...Little P, a move to Vegas, PA School, a move back to Idaho, and now I plan to work toward an eventual retirement! Not a retirement from adventure, a semi-retirement from working full-time, and most importantly working NIGHTS! Why?!?!? Because Ty has GRADUATED and...PASSED his boards! We are so proud of our little PA-C! He has worked so hard all while the boys and I explored Vegas, played in the pool, and soaked up some sun! Now that Ty has graduated we have been more than enjoying having him around to join in on the fun and adventure of having...now 3...crazy boys!

Christmas and more...

Big Bros!

We blessed Baby G on Dec 5, 2010! He is such a special addition to our fam!

Baby G and me! I could hold him all day!

Baby G...2 months old already!

Smiling! Cheeks, chins, and all!

Christmas morning in their Christmas jammies (not bad for my first attempt at making clothes)!! oh...the anticipation!

Baby G!

Christmas time holds so many of my fondest memories...and this year is no different! I used to think there was nothing better than being a 5 year old at Christmas...but there is...it's being a mom of a 5 year old at Christmas time. I love watching kids at Christmas! I love the Christmas programs, the excitement of the season, and the opportunity to teach my kids about the birth of our Savior. T has become so grown-up this year. He has learned to tie his shoes, not from Ty or I even though we tried, instead he learned from a friend at school. He learned to ride a bike like a pro and he has learned how to sound words out and (almost) read. He can count "to the highest" as he puts it and can add his numbers. Ty has been teaching him how to count and add money...no suprise to me, Ty has always been the money/business guy. T's kindergarten class had a Christmas program and he did such a great job! He sang loud enough that he had everyone asking...who is that great singer and cute little dude in the Puma shirt?(we got such great compliments and thanks from almost everyone there for the awesome entertainment). He likes to belt out those songs and was about a word ahead of all the others...Ty and I were crying with so much laughter! Man...we love that kid!

P absolutely ADORES his big bro! He serves as the perfect sidekick to his T...however probably not for long considering he is only a few pounds shy of T and he is one tough cookie! P has such a HUGE personality! He is fearless, adventurous, and a little crazy. We used to think that considering he falls 15-20 times a day he was pretty clumsy...we are coming to find he is pretty darn coordinated! He is a natural on his Razor and a pro on his snowboard. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it myself! P has learned so many things this year...he knows his alphabet...he knows how to yell the song "Follow the Prophet"...and he can count to 13. He will be a SUNBEAM next week and will be joining T in primary next week...should be interesting. He is a GREAT big brother and loves holding and playing with his new little bro.

Baby G is growing and growing and growing! Everyday we discover a new chin or a new roll and we love every one of them! He is smiling more and more and even gave us a little giggle the other day. He is just over 8 weeks now and is the cutest little button...his nickname sadly has become BOOBERS...sad huh...don't know how that one evolved. He is a good little guy, only fusses when he's hungry...alot like his dad...and has big cheeks...alot like his dad. He got an airplane piggy bank for Christmas so he can join in on those money lessons from dad!

Ty and I are loving the time together now that PA school is OVER!!!! The next step...to find a J.O.B. We are in some communications with a doctor in Utah and are thinking that is showing the most potential for now. Ty is trying to keep busy...having more time on his hands now than ever before! I tease him he is having a hard time saying good-bye to his sugar-momma, I remind him that this sugar-momma is working her way closer to retirement. I have been on maternity leave but have picked up a few shifts here and there. I am restoring an old upright piano and am so excited to have more music in my home. I am anxious to play and Ty is anxious for me to teach the boys. I have a feeling he will be less anxious when HEARS me teaching the boys. I have not got nearly enough of my other projects done...like scrapbooking, organizing, crafting...but have so eNjOyEd spending my time with my family! I am so thankful for my family! This year...like every other...will be a year full of change. We will be moving to who knows where, doing who knows what, and for who knows how long...but whatever we do...it will be great...and it will be an adventure!

sorry it's sideways...too cute not to post!

Life as a Family of 5!

love...love...love...love...love! baby G is now a month old and we are loving every minute of him! he is growing so fast and already has a couple of chins...he must know it is survival of the fittest around here between big t and little p. the boys just love for the babe to hold their fingers and every time anyone talks to baby g little p reminds us that "he doesn't talk yet"! big t is loving kindergarten and loves his friends! it is so funny to hear about the things those little people talk about...t told us that his friend's dad got new snow tires and that his other friend has a lot of animals and lives on blueberry mountain. hmmm... he is full of energy and absolutely LOVES being the mastermind for his cohort in crime, little p. little p serves as the perfect one to carry out big t's plans. he is always full of giggles and has the CUTEST smile! p is such a smart little fart...he is learning to pray and always remembers to be thankful for the christmas tree, the lights, and of course baby g! t remembers to be thankful for just about everything in his prayers...they are such an example to me of being grateful for even small and simple things. Ty is in Utah now taking his boards and me and the boys could not be any more proud of him! His road to this point has been a lengthy one...all while being an awesome husb and the greatest dad! We just love that guy! I have been enjoying my time off work...and spending more time at home with the fam! Most of our time at home is filled with wrestling matches and negotiations...the testosterone from this place is overflowing! Everyone is still in one piece...at least for now and we are nearly buried with all the snow we have been getting. Thanks to everyone for all you do for us, we are so grateful!

Ahhhh! October!

Where did the summer go? All the sudden it's October, we are knee-deep in kindergarten, and about to add another little guy to the fam in 3 weeks. Time flies... This week finds Tyler back in the clutches of Touro University as he finishes up with his final testing. What an adventure it has been! I still remember applying for PA schools...we were unsure where we would be headed and where life would take us. Then we found out it would be Vegas! Though a little hesitant about leaving Poky, Idaho for Las Vegas...we sold our house and headed south. What we weren't expecting was to meet so many great friends down there! While we have been able to visit them a few times, I still think of all the awesome people there and miss them! Heavenly Father sure blessed our little family with an experience to remember and with friends we will never forget! Now PA school has had us in Idaho for about a year and as it comes to the end...graduation...life again has us up in the air...not knowing where we will be or what we will be doing. Funny how that happens. So on to the next I guess! We are so proud of Ty! The boys and I could not have chosen someone better! As for me, I am getting ready to have the new little guy in a few weeks and I am so excited! Both to have a new little guy to add to the fun of t and p and to NOT be pregnant! Being busy though helps the time go by...work has been good and busy...but I think I am getting a little anxious for a little time off. T is in kindergarten...he loves it! I am so grateful for him...he loves school, he is the best big brother and we couldn't love him more! His summer was filled with baseball and soccer and he loved both of them! He just loved having his dad for his soccer coach. P is growing up too. He tries to do everything T does and is such a rough and tumble kid! They are a couple of adventurous boys...they don't play on the swingset, they would prefer to climb to the top and dangle from the crossbar 6 feet off the ground. They don't slide down the slide...that would be silly! Instead they find tires in our neighbor's backyard to roll down the slide to each other! They have also both taken to their bikes and scooters, even P can ride a mean scooter and "pop wheelies"! P always has some sort of battle wound and T always has some pretty curious ideas...one of which was shoving a bead up his nose yesterday. Not really knowing what that was about...I called Ty en route to Vegas with his PA buddies. After discussing it, I pulled out a pair of forceps and pulled out the not so little bead. After it came out T said,"oh...that feels so much better!" Hopefully he learned his lesson! Well, all-in-all things up here are good... he boys are still a little crazy and Ty and I are a little more crazy! I need to go do a little damage control but we will keep you posted on the new little bub!!!! YEAH!

T LOVED playing tball this summer, his favorite position was pitcher!

Camping in Island Park with the fam! We fished, T learned to ride a motorcycle, and we had so much fun!

We just love 'em!!!

update!

t and p...the 2 amigos...the 2 musketeers...the 2 peas in a pod of their own. we just love them more and more every second! they are such amazing little boys and even though i feel like referree has been added to my list of titles...i couldn't have asked for better! t is so full of life, he loves to play, laugh, and has grown to be quite a little soccer and tball player. he is always looking out for not-so-little p who thinks for some reason he has to explore any adventure available. you would be hard-pressed to find a moment where p isn't wearing a glove, carrying around a rope, and looking for tools! p just can't wait to be as old as big bro t and get to play in a tball game of his own. ty is busy with rotations...only 3 more left. he is learning and loving it...but is very much so looking forward to graduation, as am i. as for me and the littlest tyke we are growing by the day. i am still staying pretty busy with work and can't wait for the big vacay...well maternity leave...to begin, working full time nights is proving to be rough on an old and aging pregnant chick! speaking of work...i am off to it. thanks to all of our friends and fam...we love you! Here are some pics of the last few months!

Fun in Vegas...gettin' beat by the boys in bowling!

p's get up for catching grounders off the bat of big bro t!

yes...late may and it is still too cold to run throught the sprinklers. dad's solution...running throught the sprinklers with garbage sacks, not getting wet, and not getting cold! dad's are so smart like that...leaving some to wonder, why didn't i think of that!?!?!?

zoo action...the boys LOVE their animals!

Boy...Boy...oh...and Boy!

A NEW.........

Well so many fun and exciting things and yet so little being blogged about! Where to start? Ty is stil busy, busy, busy with his rotations...loving them while really looking forward to wrapping them up here in October. Yes, October is his last month of rotations before graduating as a PA. I am just so excited he will start working for money! I have been working quite a bit and playing at home with the boys. I just can't get enough of them! Oh...and baby #3, coming to earth in October and we can't wait. T is growing up...he learned how to ride his bike without training wheels in about 30 seconds last night. Ty took them off and T took off! P is still his witty little daring self. He is so funny, he loves his big bro, and continues to be a big snuggle-bug...which I LOVE! The weather is starting to SLOWLY warm up and become nice, so we are becoming a little more ok with ID. So...I must go but will blog again SOON!
P.S. We are missing all you southerners but are going to be seeing you soon!

new meal plan!

so t is now the big 5! we had his little birthday party and man...we just love him. so...being all big boy of him i guess he decided this morning to let mom sleep in and make him and p BREAKFAST all by himself. the menu for each of them 5 chocolate chips, 5 cheeto puffs, 5 skittles, and my favorite 5 kernals of microwave popcorn...all laid out in neat little piles. which leads me to ask...WHERE did you get the popcorn? about 5 minutes later he finishes showing me and telling me all about the other 5 bags that "just didn't want to pop" until he finally figured it out...the microwave that is. the lucky part...the house didn't burn down. i guess 5 is our lucky number.

Batton Down the Hatches!

Things here in Idaho are good! We are enjoying a LITTLE more time with Ty and are excited to be breaking into the new year. The boys have been busy growing! Ty and I can't believe how big they are getting. T is still loving preschool, has perfected the art of writing his name, and lovescoloring and playing with all his little friends. P is getting so big! He is a little jabberbox and just loves to play with big bro! Ty is busy with work (yah...we pay good money for him to be working!) but he is learning a lot and enjoying it! Ty and I are now teaching CTR 5 class in our ward and are loving all the cute little kids! I keep myself busy with work, the gym, the house, and my boys! Work is the same...more people having babies. The gym...body combat...my favorite! The house...never-ending battle. My boys...destructive...but adorable! All in all we are surviving the north and missing the south! Bye for now...but not for long.

Yet another adventure!!! A COLD ONE!!!

Brrrr..... I am freezing! We have officially moved north, impressed...not yet. The weather is seeming to be a bit trying with temps ranging from 25-45 degrees and SNOW! How I miss the LV sunshine!!! I feel as though I need to go into hibernation and batton down the hatches! For now we are waist deep in unpacking and settling into the new place. Besides the weather everything on this home-front is going well...just wish those boxes would unpack themselves!

Playin' in "the farrest"!!

Lately we were able to go with some friends to their cabin...TONS OF FUN! Erika and I had so much fun scrapbooking...totally productive...and the kids PLAYED! It was a blast. We started the fun making homeade pizzas then got to the playing. The kids loved playing in the dirt, T and H spent hours "smellin' the berries" on the junipers, and showering...then soaking...then soaping...then rinsing! T and H listened for coyotes...both terrified...still a topic of conversation occasionally. We saw deer, rabbits, and wild turkeys...suprisingly, no human-eating coyotes! It was so great to spend time with friends and to have so much fun! The guys joined us towards the end of the week, just in time for dress-up...aren't you so proud of your little boys, daddy!!!

down and dirty!

I have fallen in sagebrush...and I can't get out!

play hard...sleep hard!
