Awards night at the Middle School for Conley. Conley wasn't even there. We drove by on his behalf! He is my first child to get straight A's in 6th grade. He auditioned for and made the top choir group (madrigals) for next year. He did so well all year long. He was well-liked by his teachers. They had so many wonderful things to say about him. He was selected by his English teacher to receive the top award from ALL of her classes. I never had to check on Conley's grades or assignments. But his perfect attendance, straights O's for citizenship and straight A's were just one thing that made my life easier this year. Conley helped me so much with the younger kids. He sat with them on meets when I couldn't be two places at once. He reminded me of class times (as they changed all the time!) He did work with them, got them on their mandatory computer programs, talked to their teachers on meets, made lunches, stayed happy and positive, talked to me about his classes, practiced his piano and never missed a lesson, cleaned around the house all day, etc. The list goes on and on. His most commonly used phrase this school year has been, "What's next mom?" This kid is golden!

I think the part about Bradley working at Chick-fil-A
that I loved the most was the random messages I would get from friends I haven't seen in years asking if that was my son they just saw. I guess we look alike? Bradley worked at CFA from April 2021 to September 2021 to save some money for his mission in 2022. It was hard, hot, hot, HOT work. Way to go Bradley. I am proud of you for sticking it out!

We enjoyed having Trey here for a few days. His sister sent me a text to try to get his hair cut. No such luck. I think he's stinking adorable though! He and Cora have the exact same color hair.

We only had one graduating senior from our ward this year! Congrats Hayleigh!

May Sunday Pics

420 days since the last time these kids enjoyed Young Men, Young Women, Primary or Sunday School classes at church. It was SO good to go back to 2nd hour today. The kids love it. I loved it too. Hearing the kids sing filled me with a joy I have been deeply missing.

Last Day of School 2021

Last day of school!!!! We've got one graduating kindergarten, one graduating elementary school and another graduating middle school. It's been a year! #amiright? Here's to August looking a bit more normal? Summer, here we come! 2020-2021 school year, good riddance!
