Hey there! To say it's been awhile would be an understatement! I have been a busy guy and lots has been going on! Sissy is growing and learning to fight back.............she can even walk. I did not know that was part of the deal when she came along but it's okay. We play well together..........well, most of the time anyway. She's pretty funny and she eats most anything and seems to like it. I am pretty sure she is part puppy but that is really cool........I like puppies. She eats dogfood (if mom and dad don't catch her) and she likes to lap Simi's water after she spills it everywhere. I think this embarasses mom a little. She is pretty sweet. Mom sometimes tells Daddy, "Emi is going to eat our lunch." Since Sissy loves to eat, I can see this happening but somehow I don't think mommy means something that simple.

Oh, and I am going to be a BIG BROTHER..........again! And Sissy is going to be a BIG SISTER for the first time. We are really excited as long as E3 comes before or after Santa. Mommy is due December 31st but tends to have babies early (which is the only thing she does early.)

AND I start PreK in August. Mommy and Daddy got me this really cool backpack and box with lizards on it!

Hope you all enjoy the pics :)

These are some photos that the great Stephanie Snell took at my wedding. I was a bell ringer but it was still MY wedding. Actually my Uncle (really cousin) Blake and Alix got hitched! It was fun. I got to make noise with the bell walking down the aisle. When I made to Aunt Ciana, I had to give her this white towel thingy and she gave me this cool toy truck...........good trade! Then Mommy immediately took me to the play room..............come on mom, give me a chance to sit still and quiet next time.

Mommy and Sissy!

Daddy and I..............two peas in a pod!

This is so cool! Dzia Dzia and I found this turtle in the pasture, so we decided it should be my pet! I named him Barney. Ummmm, he was not very social. He just hid from me. I even tried to get him to play in the dirt with me............who doesn't like to play in the dirt..................Barney, that's who. I had to be careful with him because I did not want him to snap me. Finally, I went in the house and we heard our pup, Simi, going crazy. You would know, as soon as I went in the house, Barney comes poking his head out of his shell. He was walking up and down the fence trying to find a way out. Mom decided that we should set Barney free before Simi hurt him. So I opened the fence and Mommy picked up Barney and free at last was he! I was okay with it, but for the rest of the day I would periodically break down crying and tell Mommy "Barney was my frand and he just walked away." But I know that Barney knew he better get while the gettin' was good!

So, this was actually taken one morning in MAY! Yes, May! Mom was staying home with us that day and we had to go out and feed and water Simi. Of course, it takes all three of us (or just Mommy while Sissy and I sit at the door and scream like a couple of nuts!) We usually just head out in our diapers..........well, I wear pull-ups because those are for Big Boys. But not this morning..........we had to bundle up. I told Mommy "Sissy just looks so cute" so we decide it was a Kodak moment :)

ANOTHER new addition to our family.....

.......but this sister has four legs and a tail. Her name is Simi, but I prefer to just call her "imi" or "dawg". She is a lot of fun but I think sometimes she thinks I am her chew toy. She likes to chase me down, make me fall, and then lick and chew on me. Needless to say, I am not too fond of this "playfulness". If I run from her she thinks I am trying to play so I usually freeze and yell (or cry) for Mommy or Daddy or whoever can save me from this little-boy-eating puppy! I really do like her. Mommy begged Daddy for a long time to get us another dog and he finally gave in and he did it in a big way. Simi gets to sleep in the house and the OUR bed. She likes to snuggle and so do I so it works out well. She just better keep her paws off my mimi (pacifier). The first day she came to live with us, she was a little timid and did not even want to come in the house. She hid from me (can't imagine why), but it did not take her long to realize that we were going to be buddies. She does like to chew the rubber tires off my cars and trucks. We have frequent tug-of-war with my cars. I always win because if I don't I start screaming and Mommy comes to save the day. She likes to lick and sort of chew on Sissy's toes. Sissy's response is usually very loud and actually scares Simi off (she scares me off sometimes too :) Anyway, Simi has made herself at home and is here to stay for a long time, we hope. We still miss T-Bone, especially Mommy and Daddy. Simi looks a lot like T-Bone but is a little bigger. She has some of the same mannerisms and sleeps like T-Bone slept. Sometimes when she is snoozing, her legs start moving like she is chasing something.....I figure she is dreaming about chasing me in the yard, catching me, taking me down to the ground and chewing my ear because that is about the order of events. Mommy says that I probably run in my sleep too but I tell her I just have that restless leg syndrome........can't help but stay busy! Mommy says that she used to think having a puppy was like having a baby.........she says that she even told people that! Now, she is embarrassed that she even made that comparison. We are happy that we are finally pet owners again. Enjoy the pics of Simi....there will be more to come!! Oh, and I am also putting some more pics of Sissy and I. Come out, come out wherever you are!! I think she might have been a little scared of the lawn mower, but hey, around here, a man's work is never done.
Once all my mowing was done, Simi decided that I might be okay..............five minutes after this is when I became her human chew toy!

Simi hanging out on Sissy's play mat..........she needs colorful sensory stimulation too!

In other news, Sissy started eating her cereal from a bowl this week instead of from the bottle. She finally got the hang of it, but it was a messy ordeal. I cannot believe I actually used to eat that stuff......yuck! Of course, I thought I was missing out on something so I kept begging Mommy.."I wanni" "I wanni".....and then "I gotti"! Mommy put a little bit of the cereal mixed with formula in my mouth. All of a sudden, I just start gagging and trying to get it off my tongue but it is just stuck there. I cannot make myself choke it down, so I just sit there gagging and acting like I am about to throw up until Mommy finally quits laughing long enough to get that junk out of my mouth. EEEEKKKK! Another lesson learned the hard way!
Mommy and Daddy already talk about "rules" that Sissy is going to have when she starts to date. I should tell them that with manners like these, they are getting way ahead of themselves. Sissy is going to have to clean up her act before any boy takes her out in public.
Sissy says, "What are lookin' at?"
Okay, so this is the Sissy that the boys are going to like :)
Mommy just loves Sissy's new socks. They are okay, I guess, if you are into pink flowers and rhinestones...........which I am not.

Mommy wanted to get some quick pics of me to send to Daddy. So, when I was decked out for Aunt Dee's birthday dinner I allowed her take a few.
Alrighty, this is the first picture. My instructions from Mommy were "Sit still. Let's take a picture for Daddy."

Apparently, Mommy was not pleased with my facial expression in the first one. So, on the second go round (as there always is when Mommy is taking pictures) my instructions were "Easton, smile and show your teeth." So, me being the compliant child that I am, did exactly what Mommy said, but it was sort of difficult to smile with my hand in my mouth.......I mean I did have to "show my teeth". Sometimes I think Mommy gets me confused with a trick pony! She found this very funny.
Okay, guys, don't get intimidated..........this is me showing my muscles and saying "Doooo" (dude). Milk DOES do a body good! To get this buff, you have to wake up at 7:30 and move constantly until about 9 pm!

Well, this is all the recent stuff that has been going on with Sissy and I. We are so ready for Daddy to get home from the Middle East. We miss him very much. Mommy has been taking me riding in Daddy's truck. Guess what MY Daddy's truck says....."Vroom Vroom"(in my gruff deep voice). I love to say that!!! I try to throw a fit when I have to ride in Mommy's car. Her just says "putt putt" (said in the highest voice I can muster)!! Oh, and I also learned a new animal sound. Did ya know the rooster says "doodle doodle dooooo"? Yep, sure does! Guess I better hit the sack..............Peace out!!

Spring is HERE!!!!

Howdy folks! Long time, no bloggy! I have been really busy being a BIG brother. I am taking to it fairly well. Mommy says that I am a big helper. I know how to get diapers, blankets and all that other stuff that babies have to have. I even make sure Sissy has a pacifier when she is fussing. She does not always want to take it but I usually don’t give her a choice……..she can either suck the pacifier or choke on it..her choice. The other day, Sissy was in her swing and Mommy was making her a bottle. Sissy was yelling about being hungry so I ever so kindly went to the swing and put my finger in her mouth. When she got quiet Mommy rushed around the corner (I am sure to see what I had done) only to find Sissy nawing on my finger! I try to set a fire under Mommy but sometimes I have to take things into my hands, literally! Sissy is almost three months old. I think she is starting to like me. She smiles and coos when I give her a kiss. She likes to be outside just like me. I guess all in all she is pretty cool. I have been known to hit her….I mean give her “love taps”. That usually does not go over too well with Mommy and Daddy. I have newfound love for the baby crib. I mean, I would hate to sleep in it (as I never have) but I do like laying in it with Sissy and watching the mobile. I like to grab the animals so they can’t go round and round. Sissy is not to fond of that, though. She went back to the doctor on April 13th for her 3 month check-up. Lucky dog........she did not even have to get any shots! She will probably have to get some shots when she goes back next time…..yuck, but better her than me! I mean, I am sure that she is much tougher than me. She will learn one day that getting that little dum-dum sucker when you leave the doctor is not worth the heartache and pain…….and she can’t even have a sucker yet!!!!!
Here are some pics of my Sissy. Isn't she so pretty?!

I now LOVE being in the crib and hanging with Sissy! Mommy and Daddy say they wish I had developed the bond with the crib when I was Sissy's age. It is way more fun when there someone in there to play with!

Emerson already has a mean right hook! Daddy says that she will need it for all the boys on day ;)

So, we have had a lot going on lately it seems like. First of all, we had a huge snow (yes, a long time ago!!!!!!!) It was pretty cool. I went to sleep and when I woke up all I saw was white. Daddy was overseas so we stayed with Poppi and Gaga. I looked out from every window to see if the scene would change and it didn’t………whiteness everywhere!!! When the roads got better we took a trip Busia and Dzia Dzia’s. On the way we picked up Kiki and Hudsyn because they were stranded at home. Mommy had to walk down our driveway to get to our house because the car would have slid down the hill! It was so cool!!

Sissy got all bundled up to experience her first snow.

Our LEGO Snowman......

Snow angel.....an unhappy one, but one all the same.

On March 21st, Sissy, Hudsyn, and I got baptized. Lots of people came to share this with us. My family from Houston came down and so did some of Mommy and Daddy’s friends from Sugarland. I made two new friends, Conner and Caroline. We had fun riding the mule and playing in the playroom. They got here on Friday and it was Springtime and by Saturday afternoon Winter had returned! Aunt Sherri drove Mason, Papa and Mama Horn down. I have not seen them in several months, so I was very happy to get to hang with them. They got to meet Sissy and hold her and love on her. She is better at sitting still and being loved on than I am. I have so much to conquer! At the baptism, I actually got to stay in the church service longer than I have in quite some time but boy I could tell that Mommy and Daddy were nervous. On the way to the church I overheard them discussing who would be responsible for who. Mommy told Daddy that I was his responsibility and I think Daddy half-way wanted to argue with Mommy and be in charge of Sissy but he did not dare rock the boat on that morning. That being said, as soon as I was sprinkled it was off to the nursery for me! But I am officially an angel now……gosh, such pressure.

So, needless to say, things did not go so well between the preacher, the water, and I. Luckily, Sissy handled it a bit better.

On Easter, the Easter Munny (Bunny) hopped my way and left Sissy and I some goodies. To be honest, this caught me totally off guard. I have not been threatened with good behavior and there was not a bunch of stuff decorating the house that I could not touch. I just woke up, walked out of my room (yes, my room that I let Mommy and Daddy share with me), and there were presents……just that simple. Oh, and I learned how to hunt Easter eggs. On Saturday, we went to the church and hunted eggs. I tried to find as many as I could with Daddy and my Monkey basket in tow! While I was running around like a wild man, Sissy was sleeping strapped to Mommy. Hudsyn would find an egg, sit down, open it, and eat the candy. When that candy was gone, she would find another egg. Mommy tells me that is how girls are….they enjoy things along the way not worrying about how much they have and boys like to make sure they have all they can get and then enjoy the rewards!

Like I mentioned, I was caught completely off guard by all the goodies.....was not real sure if they were mine or not. I had to give them a good study first.

......but apparently no "BIG BOY" enough to handle my own candy! For some reason, Daddy found my sad emotional state to be quite funny.

If I don't make eye contact with them, maybe they will not notice me taking Dubby's eggs!
Sissy handled this whole "pic in a basket" thing very well.......for about 30 seconds!
Mommy decided to venture out and take my and Emerson's pictures in out "Easter clothes". She said that the following picture was the only one where there was any cooperation at all! It was downhill from there.

Speaking of rewards………..I have a singing potty! Yes, I tinkle, it sings! I do use it, but Mommy and Daddy have to remind me. I get really excited when they ask me if I need to “tt”. Of course, I always run in there like I really have to go, but there is not action every time. When there is action, we all do a happy dance and get pretty excited. Of course, I still wear a diaper as that is more convenient right now for a kid on the move like me. I mean, is it really necessary to stop playing outside and come in just to “tt” when I can go in my diaper and never miss a beat? I think not so I am going to take advantage of this diaper as long as I can. It is still fun to learn new things though!

Well, that is all for now. I never thought that being a big bro would take so much time......but I sure would not have it any other way.
