Our fun weekend!!

Here are a few pictures from this past weekend....we had a great weekend, full of fun with Landon!
So of course we love Landon to pieces, but I think my dad is obsessed with him! :) This is a new tractor that my dad bought over the weekend and says he bought it for Landon. He told the tractor store that the only way he would buy this tractor was if they would give him 2 hats! He told Landon that every tractor ride he must wear his hat! We got down there Friday afternoon and my dad was riding around just waiting on Landon to show up to take him for a ride! Landon is my dad's little side kick!

Here is Pawpaw (my mom's dad) and Landon is their 1st great grandchild. Landon is playing peek-a-boo, but thought it was a cute pic! My grandpa is crazy about Landon.

On Saturday we took Landon to Kemah to ride the train. He LOVES trains so we knew he would love it. Well, we had a good time, but it was very crowded and tons of traffic. We completely forgot about spring breakers!!

Landon and Dada on the train ride!

Landon and Mama before the ride! We couldn't get him to smile - there was way too much going on!

Sunday evening we celebrated my dad's 57th bday and my mom's 56th bday. I can't believe I didn't get any pictures from the night, but here is one of Landon with his great grandparents. He is in the process of eating chocolate pie during this pic!

Thought I would sum up the night with this cute pic of our little boy. He was exhausted from the day, but I was managed to get this pic on our bed before we took him to bed. When we put him to bed we said our prayers and after I said "Amen" he goes "more!" It was the most adorable thing I have ever heard!!

Loves his mama's spaghetti!

Last night I made spaghetti....typically I just feed it to Landon with a spoon, but this time I decided to try something different!

I decided tonight to strip him down and let him go at it!

He thought it was SO good he had to lick his tray! :)

Weekend at Mimi and Papa's

Last weekend we spent the weekend at Mimi and Papa's! Matt was in a wedding in Dallas and I had a wedding to go to Sat. night (Kelly Hornberger's brother) so we stayed in town. Here are a few pictures from the weekend!

Papa pretending he is asleep, then Landon would wake him up!

Papa made the best breakfast - french toast on Sat and pancakes on Sun! Landon ate 3 pancakes - never knew how much this boy loved pancakes! I am going to start making them and just freezing them and pulling them out in the mornings!

Carnival Fun!!

Last weekend we went to a carnival at the Friendswood Christian School. Landon had the best time!! Allison was there with Chloe and Charlie and the kids had a blast on the train. Landon had his 1st pony ride and absolutely loved the train ride. I am already thinking for his 2nd birthday that we will have to have train rides. We had to ride the train twice because he would cry when I would take him off!

Landon riding with Chloe and Charlie - Chloe was the babysitter!

The kids along with Allison are in the last cart - cute little train isn't it?

Uncle B's 27th birthday dinner!

Last week we got together for my brother, Brad's 27th birthday at La Griglia in Houston. We had a great time, especially Landon - I think he thought it was his birthday! He was eating everything in sight and loved helping Uncle B blow out his candles! Happy Birthday Brad!!

Proud of my dad!

So I have to brag on my dad for a bit....last weekend we attended The Education Foundation at NASA Space Center. My dad was one of the 5 honorees. He was recognized for his contributions made during many years in Friendswood ISD. A poster will be in every FISD classroom for the upcoming school year recognizing these 5 men. Many family members were able to attend this function, including my dad's parents which was incredibly special to my dad that they were able to be there. My dad has always been a wonderful father, now grandfather and always will be a great role model. He loves Landon more than I thought a child could be loved. We are so thankful he is apart of our lives.

Loves his Mena and Bop!

Landon loves his great-grandparents! He is so fortunate to have many sets of great-grandparents still around and they just eat Landon up. Last week we stopped by my dad's parents house (the one who gives Landon tractor rides) and they have a toy box. Landon runs straight to the toy box and always pulls out "Turkey and the Straw"! You push the "On button" and this Turkey dances....and Landon loves to clap his hands and dance with him. Well, for about 30 min straight last week Landon couldn't stop dancing with the turkey...it was hysterical. Here are a few pictures!

Here it goes....Landon pushing the button to make the turkey start dancing!

Let the dancing begin!

My grandparents really get a kick out of it as you can tell!

While he is dancing he has to stop and pat Bop on the leg!

Stopped to pose for the camera!
