tml going cruise le!!! quite looking forward to it except i dunno any of my room mates... haha... but go there will noe le... hope they are steady n fun pple... hehe... finished packing my bags le... nuthin to pack really... all clothes... tml meeting grevin 9am at harbourfront to have breakfast...
i know that i really shuld forget abt everything to go for cruise... but i cant help worrying abt club and cbc... tis is really a bad time man especially when prep week is nxt week... i will only be back on wednesday... hopefully everything goes well then... but i have complete trust in alvin and willy... abit upset though... seems like everything also alvin volunteer to do... the rest like not willing to do anything tat... ask them to do abit of things will give so many excuses... y cant they think of other pple instead of themselves for a change... haiz... take yesterday meeting for example... pple keep wanting to leave and gave that kind of look when they know that there's still plenty of things to do... i gave up the chance to earn abit of cash on thurs n fri coz of club meetings... mayb i shuldn't have done tat at all... haiz... really scared alvin n willy will suffer frm burnout if they continue doing everything themselves... really hope that nuthin goes wrong while im away... but got alvin n willy ard, im confident they will be fine...
met up wif my sec sch frens today and went to play lan... ten went yehshun's house to transfer files... haha... kelvin chia juz msg me... nxt friday mayb got class bbq at mrs thai's house... hope that really came to something coz tis mayb the last chance to hang out wif sum of them be4 they go ns...

spend my last few days in chalet wif my classmates... hehe... had quite a fun time there i would say... reached downtown east in the afternoon on monday after going to school for meeting in the morning... by the time i reach most of my classmates reached le... then play ps2 for a while be4 getting ready for the bbq... bad day for bbq sia... haha... dunno y suddenly we lost all skills to start the fire and keep it going... haha... bbq until quite late... chor heng also bought a huge apple strudel to help celebrate yuling's and angela's belated birthday... haha... 1st time ever sia... use apple strudel as birthday cake... o ya... we tekan bthem both wif their presents... haha... wrapped lots of stupid stuffs and giv them... ask them to guess which is the real one... haha... wrapped lots of newspaper and masking tape round the presents... wahaha...
play game the entire night and i slept at abt 6... slp until 12 noon... haha... ten second day quite alot of pple go home so chalet quite empty... got place for us to play... haha... played mahjong, cards, ps2 etc... we also watched scary movie 2...
i left chalet today at 7 plus... coz i have to be in school for a pre cruise workshop... the workshop quite fun... i tot i will fall aslp at 1st... but then the lecturer was too exciting le... haha... his humour and wits damn funny... haha... i also gotta now whu im rooming wif and i dun noe any of my 3 room mates!!! argh!!! how sia... chewling so lucky... get to be wif her fren and mei an is wif 2 pple whom i noe which is gd coz i can introduce to them... joe is wif sports club and cls pple... argh!!! except me... all the pple i dunno whu 1 sia... zzz... sadded... haha... hopefully they will be steady pple and we wun hav duch a boring time then...

its been abt a week since i last update... went to sch almost everyday to settle CBC stuffs... had to attend poly forum opening ceremony on tuesday... go there sit for like 3 hours clap hand... haha.. SAA everytime nuthin to do ask us go attend tis kind of event... saw liangfa n gang there... kinda expected to see them there since poly forum involves all the poly and he is the president of tpsu...
finally handed in CBC proposal le!!! phew... last nite willy came to my house to chiong finish the proposal... ten today morning take cab n chiong to school to let TCS sign the proposal... ten went salc to print out the letterhead... spend all of our time trying to get a perfect fit of the letterhead onto the paper... finally finished it and went up to hand in the proposal to ms ang... ten me, willy. chewling and waicheng went to chinatown to have our lunch...
was suppose to meet my classmates in the afternoon to but birthday present... but in the end i didn't go coz i was simply too tired... i fell aslp the moment i reached home and lie on my bed...
next week gonna be the start of a busy holidays for me... here's how my schedule looked in my hp...

Saturday
went to sentosa on sat wif joe, alvin, terence, ak, lynn, huarong, shukai, michelle and waicheng... reached sentosa at abt 11... ten play frisbee at 1st... also played abit of volley ball before deciding to go for a swim... its been a long time since i last swam and when they suggested to swim to the platform i was a bit sceptical coz i scared i lost my skills le... but heng manage to swim across... haha... swimming back was easier since i noe i can do it... ten went back and played more frisbee and volleyball be4 it started to rain... zzz... such a damper man... we took the beach train to look for shelter... we actually sat on the train for the entire route... wahaha... by the time we go 1 round come back stop raining le... lolz...
the guys continue playing while the gers went to wash up coz waicheng going home early... ten when we were playing volleyball and frisbee there, funny things happen... wahaha... first ak went to pick the volleyball and decided to kick it... ten he kick too hard and the ball whack the butt of a ger standing nearby... wahaha... the guys that were wif her diao at us sia... haha... ten another incident when we were playing frisbee... shukai threw the frisbee to joe and suddenly got a grp of pple walk past... ten the frisbee headed towards them in a very slow manner... ten instead of ducking, one of the gers juz stand down there and scream "ARGH!!!!" wth sia... we were trying very hard not to laugh and when they walked past we burst out laughing... kaoz... hahaha... ten washed up and headed back to mainland singapore where we had out dinner at harbourfront... went back home after that...
Sunday
today was soccer day as usual... darric's brother frens came down to join us... so we played sorta of a "match" wif them... we lost 5-3 i tink... i ran alot today sia... 1st half i was the only 1 controlling centre midfield!!! how to cope sia... 3 pple chiong me 1... but at least i did manage to break down some of their attacks... hehe... second half at least better coz leilei pulled back to midfield to help me out... but overall it was a good workout for me... 1st time in a long time that i ran so much and enjoyed myself today... coz i really pitted myself against some of the best players i ever come across today... this experience would prove invaluable i would say... it also builds up my fitness for nxt week's match... yep... nxt week got match again... hope tis time can win!!!
went to my uncle's wake in the afternoon... he died 2 days ago in his house when he slipped and fell... although i wasn't that close to him, he's still my relative... he has also taught me some lessons in life back when he was still alive... tis is the 1st time which im actually attending a funeral... 1st time really that i lost a relative... im sure my family and the rest of my relatives will miss him... i pray that he will rest in peace...

went beach road today wif alvin and waicheng... was looking to buy a pair of sandals but in the end didn't buy coz over my budget... ten walked to bugis and went to sim lim square to look at parts for the club computer... alvin ten walked went to meet his mother while me and waicheng went bugis junction to walk ard a bit... saw hui yee working there... went home after that...
saw today's episode of ren wo ao you... in one part of the show, they were saying that to be a sportman, one should nvr giv up no matter wat setbacks you face... you should always forget abt the setback and start afresh... i tink that transcends to ur daily life i would say... nvr give up is always one phrase that we are hearing all the time... and i fell that that is a very powerful phrase to use...
i know that becoz of the number of times i have heard that phrase... and it always spurs me on no matter wat... like everyone, i have experienced failures... whether in my studies, in my life or even in my favourite sport soccer... but i have nvr tot of giving up no matter wat...
anyway on soccer, everyone who knows me whould noe that soccer represents yap meng... without soccer there wouldn't be me... i started playing soccer back when i was in primary 2... then i was a total noob at the game... juz played along wif my frens... those were the times when our idols were fandi ahmad and abbas saad in the malaysia cup days...
but it didn't take long for me to realise that soccer is the game for me... from then on, i would go down to the void decks almost everyday after school to play soccer... those were the days when void deck soccer was the in thing... it wasn't till when i was in secondary school that i began to play on the field with the big boys.. from then on, i love soccer even more...
many people think that soccer is juz 22 pple chasing after one ball... these are often pple whu dun play the game and dun appreciate the game at all... soccer is not known as the beautiful game for nuts... i always feel that adrenaline inside me building up when im lacing up my boots... and its tis adrenaline that keeps me going during the game... the passes, the dribbles, the fancy footworks, the beautiful shots, the calm finishes and the celebration when you scored a goal... absolutely fantastic...
i had my fair share of failures in soccer... many a times i had wanted to give up becoz of injuries or becoz of wat others said... i got a permanent injury on my left ankle becoz of soccer and had my fair share of sprains and torn muscles... but i hav nvr given up on the game...
im so glad to be able to play the game every week... to be able to play and train wif your frens week in week out is one of the best thing ever... i will nvr stop playing the game unless im unable to play it any longer... my aim as my blog title suggests is to be a world class trequatista... which means playmaker in italian... i will always work towards that goal...
it fires me up whenever I see those fire in those pple whom i have known. salutes to you pple. Take care and good luck in your passion for soccer... believe and dare to dream even the wildest dream...

damn tiring day today... had apex training from morning to afternoon... quite fun i would say... pity we didn't get to finish the all the obstacles...
1st obstacle, we were suppose to climb up a beam and stand on top of the beam and jump to grab a bar in front of you... the climbing part was easy but the standing on the top of the beam part was hard... its hard to balance yourself on that small space... but i managed to do it anyway... everyone completed the task... which was great! haha...
we break for lunch be4 going for our nxt activity which was abseiling or rather rappelling which im more familiar with... rappelling is actually to come down from a high ground using a rope and keep using ur feet to boost u away from the wall... i had rappelled once be4 when i was in secondary 2 during my ncc annual camp... tat time, i rappelled from the vertical hill located in bukit timah reserve park... it was a enjoyable experience that time and i had wanted to do it again ever since... so happy that i got the chance to do it... i decided to challenge myself tis time and tried doing the australian rappelling... which means u lying vertically wif ur head facing the ground... was quite nervous when i was doing it... manage to get down a bit be4 i lost control coz i misinterpreted the instructor's instructions... oops... but manage to recover myself and continue to rappel down normally... it was a great experience even though i failed to do it... thank god i tried doing it... if not i would have regretted it man... haha... terence managed to did it though... if got chance i would like to try again... haha...
the last event was when we had to get everyone over a 2m wall... tis involves everyone as sum has to boost them from the bottom while sum has to grab them from the top... me and alvin helped boost pple up from the bottom... manage to get all the gers over before we get up... i was a bit sceptical when i was going to be boosted up coz u noe im not that light ar... haha... but manage to climb up thanks to everyone... ten i started to grab pple from the top... tat was even more fierce man... haha... grab until my shoulder pain... but we manager to get everyone across in 14mins!!! woohoo... the instructor says it was a new record... wahaha...
overall it was a fun thing to play... as the guy said, take the opportunity to discover urself... did that and really discover sum parts of myself... haha... after the apex, washed up be4 having a meeting... update on all the events coming up...
really tired now sia... tink gonna slp early tonite...

im dead tired now sia... whole body no strength to move... coz last nite went nite cycling wif my classmates at east coast... cycled for the entire night sia... now my butt hurts and my legs are like jelly... haha... but overall it was fun... hehe... we met up at 7+ at east coast ten rent our bike... went to have our dinner be4 started cycling... they actually wanted to cycle to bedok to have supper but coz john not confident enuff to cycle on the road... so decided to keep the area to east coast... cycled to bedok jetty and sat down there to rest and tok crap for a while... ten cycled back to macdonald to have our supper... coz it was too late tat time, the main mac was closed ten have to buy thru the drive-thru... haha... we literally drive thru wif our bike to buy out meals!!! haha... so funny... ten rot down there until morning coz we were too tired to carry on... haha...
only reached home at abt 10+am... haha... ten slp all the way from then to 6pm... haha... juz went to deposit money into my bank account to pay for my internet bills... saw chewling there also... haha... argh!!! im broke!!! zzz... no more money liao... holidays have to spend less le... whu got jobs can recommend???

met up wif xianyuan, keyuan, xinhua, yaoxing and yehshun on sat... went to play lan at hougang plaza... long time since i last saw them le... also long time since i last played lan... after exams le so muz enjoy... played the whole day sia... haha... only stopped for a while to have lunch... haha... so fun... really enjoyed myself that day... hope catch up wif them more during the holidays...

had a soccer match today... opponent was a team made up pple older than us by abt 2 yrs or so... we lost 3-1... but we lost to a good team though... we lost out to them in term of fitness coz sum of them ns men i tink... well, i tink i played my best today... their midfield was too gd... i tried my best to match them stride for stride but coz of the many weeks of inactivity, my fitness dropped alot... i had only one shot on goal n that nearly went in... it crashed off the crossbar!!! wth... i tot for sure going in man... but it whacked the crossbar... zzz...
neway, wasn't very happy today... no one is ever gonna tell me how to play in midfield... not least sum who has nvr play there be4... u have no rite to lecture me n marcus k... how the hell are we going to challenge for the ball when we dun even noe which way ur ball is going go... how can u blame us for not creating chances when everytime u get the ball, its pumped straight back up... me n marcus hardly touched the ball k... juz for ur info, i made 3 thru passes today and that 3 nearly turned into breaks... argh... forget it...
was quite moody for the rest of the day... haiz... i slept for the entire afternoon coz i was too tired... tml mayb going to cut hair... at nite going nite cycling wif classmates...

finally!!! free!!! exams over!!! woohoo!!! time to play and enjoy!!! lalalalala!!! liberty at last!!!
today was last paper... elit... can say breeze thru it ba... paper quite simple... today also narmeet's birthday... Happy Birthday Narmeet!!! we bought original warhammer game for him... ten yuling go wrap the present with 3 sets of wan pao newspaper and 1 xin qi wu zhou pao... he uses all the pieces sia... can imagine how thick the present was!!! haha... narmeet had a vry fun time opening the present... lolz...
ten after that went jurong point... went there to have lunch and also caught a movie... splitted into 2 grps... coz sum wan watch Shark Tale and some wan watch Grudge... i caught Shark Tale with narmmet, gabriel and qiuhua while the rest watch Grudge... the movie very funny... had a fun time watching the movie... animation also very nice... haha... but compared to finding nemo, this movie haven meet that standard... Guess watrva animation movies now will definitely use Finding Nemo as a gauge coz of its tremendous success...
walk ard jurong pt a bit after that... went arcade as well... long time since i last been to a arcade... so fun... weee!~ played Daytona.. losing my skills le... i manual and the rest auto i lose... -.-''' wth sia... haha... watch the rest play and ten went mos burger to have a drink before making out way home...
played game the moment i came home... hehe... watched tv also... juz watched finished survivor: vanuatu... found out that gers really cannot be trusted man... oops.... haha... well, all males who watched the show would agree wif me... haha... backstabbers!!! haha...

my leg hurts abit after yesterday soccer session... receive a knock on my previous injury... seems like a slight knock only... hope the ligaments remain fine... mayb got match tis sunday... wouldn't wanna miss the match becoz of injury...
taking a break frm studies now... watching iron chef on tv... damnit im getting hungry from the food on display... haha... but raining now... dun feel like going down to buy food... i shall go dig out sum snacks to eat... ciao~
