yesterday marks the end of a really dramatic week man... soccer in the morning was spoilt by one of weiming's fren... firstly, he tackled me from behind and went in first on my ankle and then he got the cheek to whack marcus in the face after marcus confront him abt tat tackle... wtf man... one thing i fucking hate when i play soccer is when ppl tackle me on my ankle on my knee... u can push me or barge me anyway u wan but if u tackle my ankle, u r in for it... i already had an old injury on my left ankle and now its working up again becoz of tat challenge... had to eat painkillers today juz to ease the pain and walk properly... next, no1 beat up my frens... u dare lay a finger on my hand i make sure u get it back... that guy is lucky i was still on the ground when he whack marcus... if not i would have punch him straight in the face... he is lucky marcus decided not to make a police report becoz weiming and willy were darric and my frens... first there was the stupid umpire during the captain ball game and now tis... zzz...
went out wif darric and chin guan in the afternoon... went to queensway shopping centre... i was looking for a pair of shoes... i was torn between a pair of nike track shoe and a pir of adidas street soccer shoes... in the end i bought the pair of street soccer shoes... it was a pair of predator pulse...
same design as the above but its a turf pair instead of a studs pair... woohoo... finally got my dream pair of shoes... hehe... we then went to anchorpoint to find marcus and to have somethign to eat... after which we went to far east plaza to find chin guan's frens... shopped ard far east abit and they boght some shirts... hongyi came later on with his fren... continue walking ard far east before going to lucky plaza where hongyi and his frens bought clothes... went to cine to hav dinner after tat...
i passed my pct test today!!! haha... got 17/30... hehe... damn tyco sia... lucky i got a lot of qs regarding the motherboard and also a lot of mcqs rather than short ans... haha...
went to ktv with my classmates after that... angela and yuling can really sing man!!! haha... we sang for abt 4hrs sia... from 4-8... haha... quite fun and relaxing... haha... went off to have dinner at a coffeeshop... we ordered seafood!!! haha... had stingray and chilli crab... haha... eat until damn full...
feeling really tired now... dun feel like going to igra tml... zzz... tml den see how ba...

was at one of singapore's few post production houses, Frameworks, this afternoon... went there for a tour... narmeet emailed the person after he came to our sch for a tok... so me, narmeet, sebastian, jaster and yuling went there... the company was located in chinatown... we were met by mr. freddy yeo, the general manager of the company... sat in the conference room where he tok to us abt the industry and the prospect of being a post production worker... there are 3 aspects to post production... simply, editing, 3D anmation and visual effects... he told us what it takes to succeed in the industry and he focus mainly on 3 words, passion, enthusiasm and drive... he said that if u hav these 3 elements, u will surely succeed in this industry... we were also shown a short teaser of a animation project they are working on... it was damn nice...
after which, we were shown ard the company... we were simply blown away by the working environment of the company... all of us were going omg!!! all the offices and work spaces were made to hav a cosy feeling like as if its ur home... its totally unexpected of wat u will see in a office... its even cozier than my house loh!!! and the work stations were all state of the art software and stations... absolutely fantabulous... the interior was also bigger than wat we expected... pity we couldn't see some of the stations as there were clients around... how i wish i was working in tat company man... definitely gonna write to him abt going there for internship :)
well, it seems like i have finally done it... i have finally sent out warnings to my main comm regarding abscence from meeting... i guess it couldn't be help now tat there are so many events coming up... im seriously not picking on any1 in the email i sent to everyone but its really aim at a certain bunch of individuals... haiz... i dun care if they read tat email and decide they dun wan to come to club any more... if they dun hav the passion or drive any more, its no use forcing them... i seriously doubt some of them having the passion for the club in the first place... i said to myself when i take over that i wun scold or criticise them and that i wan to let the main comm do the job in their normal manner without force... but if i continue to do tat, ictclub will die a horrifying death... at least after this i noe whu i can depends on... haiz... really heart wrenching for me when i sent tat email...

2 busy days juz past... had the enrollment excercise briefing yesterday... really fierce man the briefing... coz all the acad clubs not happy wif spsu as spsu were allocated the first 2 rooms while the rest of us were at the back... alvan, issac and me keep shooting spsu back sia... haha... the tension in the room was really getting high sia... like any moment going to fight like tat... thank god jeremy was there and a compromise was finally reached... so in the end spsu ended up in the last room... hehe... set the dates for FO camp also... FO camp will be during 16 - 18 may 2005... time for planning to start...
after the briefing, i rushed down to zouk... go there not to club hoh... but to do filming... zouk actually not for clubbing only hoh... there is this event called poetry slam which is held on the last tuesday of every month if im not wrong... the poetry slam is held at zouk and narmeet noes the person in charge of the event and often had to come down to film... sebastian, angela, yuling and me tag along tis time... the poetry recitations were quite nice sia... sebastian, angela and me even got to be judges for the competition... haha... it was quite fun... hehe... only reached home at 12+ sia...
today got principal dialouge session... had to wear formal to sch... but found out tat my tie still wif joe and he haven return me... kaoz... thank god i manage to catch sebastian before he leave for sch and ask him to lend me his... lucky sia... if not tats it... tis is actually the first time tat i actually see the principal of the sch up close... haha... we were suppose to provide feedback and suggestions... i did voice out some stuffs about sch fees during itp... but ar i kenna shoot until lan... haha... nuthin to say... den cacth up wif darren, royston they all after the thing... chewling and jennifer were going crazy laughing like mad outside the vanda room... haha... went back to club... heard alot of things frm alvin and it seems like pple aren't as responsible as i tot they are... haiz...
friday gonna be one helluva meeting...

weee~ im blogging during IGRA practical... haha... now no lecturer coz hubertus went off early... haha... so now slacking... lolz... later damn sianz... got a very long break coz no vefx lecture... afternoon still gotta go for enrollment thing briefing... zzz...
yesterday was the first game of inter-cons captain ball competition... our team was form on the day itself sia... haha... got me, alvin, terence, zul and chalk... although chalk cannot play coz he sick... den zul ask his 3 gal classmates to play coz we dun hav enuff pple... haha... at first tot our first match against spsu but in the end change to cscc... zzz... tot can thrash spsu :p... haha... we lost the cscc match 67-55... not too bad la... considering the fact the the first half was ruin by the goddamn umpire... wat a bloody sia the umpire... nabei... say one thing do another and shout at me some more... tried to explain things to her during halftime and guess wat she do, she hurled vulgaritities at me and even threatened to beat me up!!!!!! wooooo.... im so scared sia... where got tis kind of umpire one... kaoz... lucky she's a ger and alvin pulled me away... if not tats it man... she would hav gotten a heavy beating form me... thank god they change the umpire in the second half and the mood was much better... all thanks to the bloody bitch... damn freaking attitude problem sia...

finally a day to rest!!! today is hari raya haji... means public holiday... means can wake up late and rest and play games... haha... its been a really hectic 2 weeks for me sia... been really busy wif sch works... night filming has taken up a lot of my energy sia... but assignment requires me to do it so i muz do... some more im the cameraman... gotta be there... but night shooting was quite fun... haha... although its really damn tiring and damn expensive coz i took cab home once... haha...
anyway, i having been going down to club except when there's a need like poly 50... not tat i dun wan to though... i hav been really busy and tired... sorry guys, if i hav been neglecting the club and not going down to help u all paint banner or do the stuffs... promise i will go down when ever i can...
been playing game the whole day... haha... Lord of The Rings: Battle for Middle Earth is really a great game!!! omg... its definitely one of the finest RTS game ever made... too bad my comp cannot support high graphic details... if not it will be even better... haha... my grp doing a review of tis game and warhammer for our mmad presentation... speaking of my comp, i tink i shuld really upgrade my comp... but no money :(
tml mayb hav to go grandma's house... sunday got soccer!!! im refreshed n ready to go... hehe...

today was poly 50 race... even be4 the race started, there was already problems... joe, lynn and huiyee cant run and we had to find replacements... manage to find a replacement for joe in weiming but juz cant replacements for the 2 gers so we ran wif only 1 ger - chewling... haha...
the race started quite late... den smthing bad happen again... chewling injured herself when she was pushed by some1 from behind... thank god its only superficial wounds... so she had to sit out for a while to dress the wounds and rest awhile... so we switch valerie over form the other team... haha... but chewling came back later when she was well enuff... den hoh, when we running the race, dunno who forget to change lap cards for abt 5 rounds... so we ran 5 rounds extra without chaning cards!!! lolz... den when the 2 hour limit for the race ended, we still got 4 rounds more to go when in fact we shuld hav finished... lolz... so can console ourselves say actually we finished juz tat we nvr change lap cards... haha... same thing happen to the year1s as well... lolz... went for dinner wif joe n willy after wards...
damn tired now sia... legs gonna cramp anytime... thank god tml lesson 1pm... if i cfm cant wake up... haha...

Looking for the red sea??? nxt time, look no further than singapore itself... The red sea was in full force yesterday at the national stadium when singapore took on indonesia in the second leg of the final of the tiger cup... went wif marcus, darric, hongyi n shuxiang... marcus's uncle drove us there... when we reach the stadium at abt 5pm... the place was already crowded with singapore supporters decked in red... when we entered the stadium, it was already half filled!!! look all around you and all you can see is red n more red... the kallang wave was in full force and chants of ole` could be heard all thru out the stadium... it was my first time in such an atmosphere... electrifying would be appropriate word to describe it...
when the match started, it was full house in the stadium... all 55,000 seats were filled up... singapore started the match brightly and took the lead thru indra in the 6th min... they extend their lead further after indra was brought down in the penalty area after a great run by itimi resulting in the pass to him... agu stepped up and calmly slotted the ball past the goalkeeper... by then, the title more or less belongs to singapore... indonesia pulled one back in the second half but singapore kept their composure except for the sending off of skipper aide and eventually the match finished 2-1 in favour of singapore and they won the tiger cup with an aggregate of 5-2...
kudos to the lions for winning the cup... they were labelled as non-hopers going into the tournament but they have proved everyone wrong... the football they play may not be attractive like indonesia but they play smartly and coolly... credits definitely has to be given to raddy abvramovic who has giv the lions and their supporters belief... i got to admit that before the tiger cup, i was one of singapore biggest critics but after this tournament, my perception totally changed... this team is still young and has got bags to potential to fulfill...
the young players blossomed in this tournament... the likes of lionel lewis, sharil ishak, baihakki khaizan, itimi dickson, agu casmir and khairul amri have become household names... for me, the player of the tournament is definitely goh tat chuan... he showed all the qualities of a great anchorman ala patrick vieira n roy keane... my new idol!!! wahahaha...
i was glad that i manage to be part of this event... when i looked back, i can tell myself that i was there when singapore won the tiger cup... hopefully, this can kickstart the start of a great footballing history for singapore...
soccer is indeed the beautiful game...

weeee~ im back after a week absence... been too busy and tired to blog... haha... tis week quite hectic... had council meeting on wednesday, discussion session on friday, concept paper due on monday and vefx assignment presentation on friday also... at least all of them is finished...
juz reached home after attending my cousin's wedding dinner... it was located at some place in chinatown... the place is called crystal yan restaurant if im not wrong... the food there is nice but i cant say the same for the service... the waitress all got attitude problems and screw loose in their head 1 sia... got 1 bloody butch waitress was so damn freaking rude loh... she wanna take smthing from my table but she didn't even say excuse me and snatch the menu list from the table... as a result, she toppled over my bowl... n guess wat... not even a word of sorry!!! wtf sia... nb... really feel like scolding her sia... den when the waitresses refill our drinks, they would fill the cup to the brim!!! kaoz... how are we suppose to bring up the cup like tat... nuthin to say... my cousin ask for ice to be added into her drink n guess wat... the waitress gave my cousin 1 cup of ice... -.-''' the service there really damn bad man... n the emcee really cmi!!! dun even noe wat he speaking sia... haiyo... tsk tsk tsk...
finally see my cousin get married le... she one of those very nice to me one... haha... but ar her husband got those "qian bian" face... haha... not very handsome some more... my cousin so pretty... dun match loh... lolz... but nvm... none of business also... haha...
yesterday indonesia vs singapore... tiger cup final 1st leg... singapore win 3-1!!! woohoo... it was definitely the best performance i ever seen from a singapore team... the defence was rock solid man... lionel lewis was damn commanding in his penalty area... n the back four was terrific... hardly any balls got past them!!! den the 2 centre mid, goh tat chuan n hasrin jailani were damn solid man... their tackling damn zai!!! not to forget the strikers... agu, itimi, alam shah n khairul rocks!!! indra nvr even get the chance to play... haha... im definitely going to the national staidum nxt sunday to catch the second leg!!!

went to national stadium yesterday night wif faiz to catch the singapore vs myanmar match... o man... it was one helluva match... as soon as we stepped into the stadium, we can feel the electrifying atmosphere engulfing the stadium... singapore supporters were in full force to support their team... the red shirts clearly outnumbered the white... when the match started, myanmar fans' cheers were drowned out by those of the singapore fans... singapore didn't have the greatest of start... they were trailing 2-0 when second half started... but the greatest sin in mankind, in-discipline gave the lions hope... a myanmar player was sent off resulting in singapore scoring the important goal... singapore could have won it in normal time... but indra miss the penalty... me, faiz n erwin(we went to find him during HT) were getting all jittery... haha... tat was when tempers flared... punches were thrown by the myanmese players n unsportsman like behaviour was shown... 2 more myanmar players were sent off... singapore finally won the match in extra time 4-2... tat was when situations began to get out of control... not only do the players flared their temper on the pitch... fans form both sides were engaged in skirmishes on the stands as well... there was even rioting by the myanmese fans after the match... thank god me n faiz manage to go home sia... haha...
went down to club today to help out paint the banner... wasn't much help though... u guys whould noe that my art sux biggie... only helped to apply the base code... paint until 8 like tat be4 we go home... walked home together wif chewling today... shared wif her alot of my personal views n troubles on club n other stuffs... she gave me lots of advice n i wanna thank her for tat... thanks for being such a good listener ;p... n dun worry, i wun take wat u said to heart yea... heee...
monday n tuesday nite getting kinda boring now without shi zhi lu kou n wo cai... zzz... stupid mediacock... take away the programs... mediacock simple sux...

its the first day of the new year!!! n im gald i put my new year to good use by going to help out in the packing of the stuffs pple donated for the tsunami victims... 5 of us went to help out... me, joe, chewling, jackie n nicholas... wilson was there as well... coz he alone so join us the whole day haha... went to a place in chao chu kang to help out... forget the name of tat place le... haha... helped to pack the boxes onto the wooden palette n wraped it wif plastic... everyone worked hard n everything was done within a short period of time... during rest period chewling keep getting suan by me n joe... haha... over wat i shall keep mum... den in the end jackie nicholas n wilson also join in... wahahah... coz we finish ahead of schedule, we had to go home ourself coz the bus cant coem so early... took bus to the mrt station... on board the train, chewling continued to get suan by wilson... wahaha... tink she wan to beat me n joe le... lolz...
when i reached home, received a damn surprising sms... haha... chewling jio us go jogging!!! lolz... so went hougang stadium for a jog... "training" for poly 50... wahaha... chewling stamina damn gd loh!!! she ran 11 laps without stopping!!! kaoz... i ran 12 but had to stop in between... joe the worst... haha... after running, we sat there n chat for a long time sia... chat until its dinner time... haha...
Lookback on 2004
the year 2004 can said to be a year of both ups and downs... a lot things happen tis year... not only in my life... but also in the world as well... bird flus, invasion of iraq, usa presidential invasion n the recent tsnamis are some of the pretty loud events of 2004... there are good events as well... euro 2004 where underdogs greece won, the athens olympics etcs... for me, there are also both good n bad events... i will start off with the 1st quarter of the year...
the first quarter of the year was the time when i starts to become more enthu in club... started to fo down regularly and also made quite alot of new friends there... it was also my second semester in sp... nuthin much happen during tat time... club had quite a lot of events like fund raising, sports month n talentime... nuthin much happen in the first quarter...
2nd quarter... made my debut for ictclub in the inter cons tournament... haha... although we didn't manage to qualify for the semis, it was still a fun time... haha... also went to club's ADD... long story as to why i went... haha... there was also a period where relationships wif my classmates were quite strained... glad tat period is over... den tis period was also one of the most exciting if my poly life... i was part of the organising committee for the freshmen orientation camp... most of the time was spent on planning the camp... i learnt alot during tis period... mainly frm alex n rudy... a lot of stuffs happen during fo camp also... both good and bad... good was that the camp ended quite smoothly... bad coz some internal stuggles n conflicts were starting to arise...
3rd quarter... this period was really a testing period for me... during tis period, old friends were lost and new friends were made... all as a result of fo camp... i suddenly turned into public enemy num 1 during tis period... haha... up till now i still dun get it as to y i was being portrayed tat way... coz of wat sum1 has been saying behind my back... well... i will nvr noe but u cant rule out tat possibility ;) i was also appointed as president of ictclub durinf tis period... came as quite a shock to me... didn't expect such a big responsibility... but since it has been entrusted to me, i have vowed to do the best i can... really learnt alot abt myself during tis period...found out alot of things abt myself tat i nvr noe... haha...
4th quarter... busy as usual wif club things... also gotta noe a lot of frens frm other clubs!!! ne ofthe things im most proud of... haha... no longer the passive person i hope... also got to go for the leadership cruise!!! woohoo... one of the best experiences in my life... made lots of frens on cruise... there was also cbc camp during this period... whenever theres a camp, it reminds me of fo somehow or rather... still being traumatised by the events during fo... haha... tis was also the first time i start sch in sec coz of the new academic calendar... haha... first time get to celebrate christmas eve n new year nve in sch... lolz...
well, i dare to say that 2004 was a great year for me... new responsibility was given to me, new friends were made, buddies were made, old friends were still ard, manage to get into second yr of poly etc... although i lost some frens in the middle, im still happy the way i am... my realtionship wif my class ain't tat bad... although i tink it still can be improved... club is till taking up alot of my time... haha... as for relationship, its a blank as usual... haha... although dom noes abt something... haha... hope tat 2005 can be even greater... :)
