went to watch Pirates of the Carribean with ak, waicheng, lynn and alvin on saturday. the show was ok, not that great and not that bad... the only complain i have of it is that its very long winded... and best part is, you don't know the ending and got to wait for part 3 to know what happen to our captain jack... and people who haven watch it yet, do stay on until after the credits... there is a little scene that will make you jump out of your seat and i literally mean jump out... haha... after the movie, waicheng went off while we went to have out dinner... went to a hongkong eating place in cineleisure... the food was ok la... not that fantastic... you would have expected better from the amount we are paying... anyway, chatted for quite a while then go walked around before heading home...
sunday, soccer as usual... tonnes of people turn up man... it was like 12 v 12... whoa... its been ages since there is so many people... woot... almost out whole team turned up with the exception of gary and hongyi... while 4 of my old team mates were part of the other team... oh man... i wish soccer could be like that every week where is alot of people... haha... anyway, met keyuan after lunch at compass point to borrow his harddisk...
life's pretty boring nowadays... seriously, i missed most of the people who are in NS already... its like so funny not seeing those people online... well, its another 1 month + and its my turn to enlist... im actually quite looking forward to it seriously... but im kinda scared as well... coz its like 4 years since i was in NCC... and after 3 slack years in poly... im not really that fit physically and mentally also... well, we'll see on 7th sep... haha...
got plenty of issues i wanna rant about... but not here as its kinda sensitive... maybe i should just talk to my mirror... haha...

1st thing 1st... Happy 18th Birthday Fish!!!
ok, back to blogging... last wed was poly 50 race... ran for fun... i only got to know my team on the day of the race itself... haha... and the only people i know in the team were my ict seniors patrick and gerald... i couldn't even remember some of my teammates name now -.-''' haha... anyway, the team was actually representing SPSD (SP Students Divison)... don't ask me what they do coz i have no idea myself... haha... anyway, the race was as i remembered, gruelling... and the weather did not help at all... it was so hot that at one stage of the race, i felt abit dizzy whenever i was in the sun... but my team there not bad... still got provide cold drinks and got people fan you also... imagine u just finish your sprint and there will be people fanning you to cool you down in the heat by fanning you... haha... not bad eh... lolz... we finished 7th overall... not really sure how many alumni teams there were but got at least 15 i think... so not bad la... haha...
went to the cg overdrive convention at expo with matthias on saturday... went there mainly for the talks... there was this recruitment talk also by Lucasfilm... but i hear already abit apprehensive though... its really hard to suceed in this industry... seriously, i still dunno whether anot to go into the animation field or stick to graphic design... neither of which i really really excelled at... well, i got a whole 2 years in NS to think about it... who knows, later i sign on be regular... haha...
i went off early whereas matt stayed on till the end... went to dhoby ghaut fish&co to meet up with siyu & co... went there to eat to celebrate siyu birthday... waited for most of the people to arrive before going in... the service there like getting quite bad... we waited like 1 hour for our food and the table behind us who came later got their food 1st... add the fact that the aircon was damn cold... lolz... so, there we were sitting there, cold and hungry... lolz... and when our food finally came, there was a blackout!!! lolz... wat a eventful celebration eh... lolz... anyway, went to the arcade after dinner and after that was home sweet home... hope u enjoy urself that day fish...
i cut my hair like finally today... think this will be the last time i cut my hair before i enlist... haha... after which it will be 2 bucks for a shave... lolz... and yes, im gonna slack all the way to enlistment... gonna enjoy these 2 months of freedom... no work no nothing... just slack... haha...

last week was quite an interesting week... and i guess its time for an update...
last wednesday was graduation ceremony... the day that we studied so hard for in the past 3 years... all for that piece of diploma paper... haha... met up wif my classmates at foodcourt 6 be4 proceeding to the convention centre for our ceremony... saw alot of pple tat i haven seen for a long long time... the ceremony was quite a boring event actually... with all the speeches enough to put you to slp... haha... den is the presentation of the scrolls to everyone... that took up most of the time... ceremony ended at ard 4.30pm... took photos after tat and caught up wif my classmates...
last week was also the last few sessions of poly50 training wif the guys... well, i wun say much i guess... think james n tc more or has have heard my point of view... this kinda things is nvr avoidable, just got to learn to deal n live with it... just forget about it la... you already did wat u can, whether other pple appreciate it anot is their problem... i know i appreciate it =) juz do well for the race this coming wednesday yea...
sat... went pulau ubin wif shawn, tc, adrian, mark and yonghe... went there to recce the place for their LTC this year as well as to cycle also... its been a long time since i last went ubin... the last time was yr1 i think... the place definitely change abit... even the jetty where we board the bumboat changed drastically... haha... cycled the whole of ubin... was definitely fun... also got to explore some places which i have nvr been be4... objectives for the day was reached... managed to recce the place and manage to have fun cycling... haha... went to bedok 85 for dinner after tat... the 1st timer to 85, tc was full of praise for the food... lolz...
last nite... world cup final!!! france vs italy... rooting for italy without a doubt... haha... went over to nick's house with darric, marcus, gavin, hermann and ali to catch the match... the match was exciting i would say especially in the 1st half... the final score was 1-1 and the mighty Azzurris beat the frenchs in the penalty shootout 5-3... delighted for italy coz i win money as well... haha... but i hate to see penalty shootout... i dun like it being used to decide matches and watching penalty shootouts give me jitters as well... oh well, im not the president of fifa or im definitely gonna change tat... haha... another thing about yesterday match was also the sending off of Zidane for headbutting Materazzi... wat a bad way for one of the legends of football to end his career... tat act was plain stupid to say the least... but Zidane will always be remembered for his skills and artistry on the field... well, world cup is now over, wats nxt??? of coz waiting for the start of epl and waiting for man utd to make some quality signings...

hmm, where shuld i start... well, friday was mit club's agm... the 1st event of the new academic year for the new management comm... it was very well done i would say... there may be some hiccups here and there but do learn from those hiccups... i juz wanna tell u guys tat may this starting event be a springboard to even better events in the coming year... u guys got alot of potential in you so utilise it fully... all the best for the upcoming academic year...
world cup reach the semi finals stage le... the remaining 4 teams are germany, italy, portugal and france... germany beat argentina in the quarters... a surprising result to me as i expected argentina to go thru... but the germans are proving to be a very exciting team to watch... italy had a easy game against ukraine and i think totti is starting to regain his form now... gonna be quite an exciting semi finals... my money is on italy though... so go azzurris!!! portugal finally got rid of the boring england... at last i won't fall asleep watching a soccer match... bye england, i wun miss u... and france got rid of brazil as well!!! woohoo... see james, i told u brazil can forget about their 6th star... hahahaha... but zidance was phenomenal in tat game!!! there is really only one Zinedine Zidane... all those toks abt the nxt zidane blah blah blah are all thrash toks... no1 can ever replace zidane... he is really one of a kind... so im predicting a Italy vs France final... which will be a repeat of the euro2000 final...
coming wednesday is my graduation ceremony le... work so hard for 3 years all for that piece of paper... lolz... too bad my parents cant attend the ceremony...
